Because humans can do it, Curiosity, the Mars robot-rover had to do it as well. The rover took a self-portrait and posted it on the web.

This picture was taken with MAHLI camera located on the end of Curiosity's 2.1-meter-long (7-foot-long) robotic arm.  The picture is reddish since it was taken through the dust cover of the camera.
Get ready for more self-portrait of the rover.
