The only battle that matters right now in Boston. No idea why the Cardinal's player is a Centaur but it's cool none the less.

One for the New England locals.

Locally caught South Australian Crayfish (Lobster) bought for Christmas lunch, 2.15kg (4.7 lbs) cost $214.98 (US$191.61). Just a little more expensive than the going rate over there.

Dear Airlines, +United in this case, cancelling flights early rather than leaving everyone sitting around the airport for hours hoping a plane will arrive from another city isn't a bad thing, and might actually win you some friends.

Stuck waiting for a delayed flight having some drinks to while away the hours. A fun start to a work trip.

Scenes on the walk home. The light was brilliant, shame my mobile didn't catch it nearly as well as my eye.

Listening to discussions of gun ownership at a cafe, I'm so far from being an American. Even the most progressive and liberal parts have views on gun ownership that make me cringe.

Nothing like hitting a 20cm deep hole in a road and coming off your bike to remind you about some things. Luckily after going down some construction workers quickly stopped traffic and grabbed me before a car hit me.

Bruised and grazed shoulder, elbow and bruises most everywhere else, especially my knee. But nothing broken, just a few sore days coming up.

Shame about my bike, totaled both shifters and it being carbon it will have to have a full check. Not a big issue as I really doubt I'll be healthy enough to ride for the next few days/week anyway.

Only happened 2km from home. Next time out I'll have to pay more attention. On the upside the construction workers filled the hole after I went down.

You gotta watch out for those big holes!  They are pretty good at hiding...  You possibly need some recuperation time back here in Oz?
