Good article with real information in it.
If we offered couples an instruction manual to help contextualize and normalize the challenges that arise in any intimate partnership, I can only imagine how different our divorce rate would be.

When it comes to your corporate philanthropy, you’re only glimpsing one part of the mirror's reflection. Turn it around and what do you see?

General Electric develops a device that counts the calories of food about to be consumed.
https://www.inside.com/tech/u3rhs/general-electric-develops-a-device-that-counts
The device analyzes the fat content, water content and weight of food items with close accuracy. The goal is to scan a sandwich and tell someone exactly what they are eating.

When it comes to technology investments and employee engagement, sticky is what it’s all about.

Stickiness means that your employees are hooked and keep coming back. An employee who’s “stuck” doesn’t need to be bombarded with reminders to use the technology investment you’re promoting – he’s going to seek it out himself and advocate it to others. Sticky is the cure for software collecting dust and having to explain why you thought the investment was so important in the first place. Stickiness saves your job.

I’m stuck on stickiness today because of some feedback I just heard.

How do we make sense of 9/11, and how can we move forward? Corporate philanthropy and employee engagement can play a key role.

I dunno. Way, way too much food, most went to waste. Two entire chickens for two people? Seriously? After a gigantic salad with potatoes and peas that must have weighed five pounds. Tiny glasses of wine. How odd. I don't know why the portions would be do out of whack. I thought it was weird frankly and it made me feel like I was wasting so much. It did not taste all that great. The chicken coating was super thick and somewhat hard.

Fire guy behind register. Don't know why you'd keep such a guy with so many good people unemployed.
