Just noticed on my Chromebook that Google+ now opens as it's own app rather than in a Chrome tab. Pretty neat, however, not a fan of the 2 column look.

So there's an added bonus, no mention of what it is? Anyone know? American Express Serve used to be free, then they started requiring direct deposit or a minimum balance in order to stay free. Did that also change?

Also, do either of these work with Android Pay? Wallet is my go to for Android Pay since my Credit Union isn't supporting Android Pay until 2017 (even though they already support Apple Pay; frustrating!)

I want Bernie to just come out and say, "Should I get the Democratic nomination for President, Elizabeth Warren will be my Vice-President." I can't help but feel like an announcement of that magnitude would REALLY grab the attention of a lot of people.

Let’s be honest – Donald Trump is a loser. Count all his failed businesses. See how he kept his father’s empire afloat by cheating people with scams like Trump University and by using strategic corporate bankruptcy (excuse me, bankruptcies) to skip out on debt. Listen to the experts who’ve concluded he’s so bad at business that he might have more money today if he’d put his entire inheritance into an index fund and just left it alone.

Trump seems to know he’s a loser. His embarrassing insecurities are on parade: petty bullying, attacks on women, cheap racism, and flagrant narcissism. But just because Trump is a loser everywhere else doesn’t mean he’ll lose this election. People have been underestimating his campaign for nearly a year – and it’s time to wake up.

People talk about how "this is the most important election" in our lifetime every four years, and it gets stale. But consider what hangs in the balance. Affordable college. Accountability for Wall Street. Healthcare for millions of Americans. The Supreme Court. Big corporations and billionaires paying their fair share of taxes. Expanded Social Security. Investments in infrastructure and medical research and jobs right here in America. The chance to turn our back on the ugliness of hatred, sexism, racism and xenophobia. The chance to be a better people.

More than anyone we’ve seen before come within reach of the presidency, Donald Trump stands ready to tear apart an America that was built on values like decency, community, and concern for our neighbors. Many of history’s worst authoritarians started out as losers – and Trump is a serious threat. The way I see it, it’s our job to make sure he ends this campaign every bit the loser that he started it.

Does anyone really believe this? Who out there thinks that if they get famous it'll fix all their problems and make them be happy?

What my wife would say is that rich or poor you have problems, but most folks would rather have the problems of rich people. None of these people are trading back for the poor problems.

Feeling good about yourself is just another game. Authenticity is a red herring. There isn't any there there. You already are who you are. There isn't a more genuine version of yourself just waiting to be discovered. Searching for it will just result in another invention.

There are some really good individual points in the video (society is sick and we are society, and of course chasing fame and fortune are ultimately self destructive), but the rest seems like just more significance narrative.

Ultimately being rich and famous and changing the world are just two sides of the same delusion. Both are just people wanting to believe they are important.

Discovering my new found love for all things geek!
Introduction
I've been on G+ now since almost the beginning, but I've never really gotten the hang of it or done much to become more engaged. I'd like to work on that, so I'm finally updating this part of my profile.

I don't do well with talking about myself, but I'll give this as best a shot as I can.

Lists are easy right? We'll just make a list that describes me.

Things I like:
Books (though I have moved on to a digital reader for the sake of convenience)
Reading books (not the same as liking books in my opinion)
Movies (love to get lost in a good story or in lots of action)
Music (I believe that the music we listen to defines us)
Gadgets (I'm a total gadget geek. I keep up with as much as I can when it comes to the gadget and technology world.)
Playing sports (I'm highly competitive and can really get into the game. However I don't enjoy watching sports as much, unless it's a group setting.)
RPG's (I recently discovered tabletop and role playing games and really enjoy them. I've only gotten to do two campaigns of D&D, but hope to find the time to join a group soon)
Going for a drive (I love to just go out, with the windows down and the music up, and just drive.)

Circles to add me to:
Tech and gadgets
IT professionals
Music
RPG/tabletop (I'm new to this and don't post much now, but hope to in the future)
Android
Movies
I'm sure I'll come up with more eventually

This was an excellent lunch! It's make your own stir fry. Very similar to that of a Japanese Steakhouse, but with so many more options for flavor combinations. A little pricey, but so delicious! Our server, Brittany was outstanding!
