Fully sim geeking it out with all the telemetry on the screen and using my N7 with the awesome Dashmeter app.. love it.

Four views. Bonnet cam, cockpit view, helmet view and car view. Which do you prefer when race gaming?
Helmet view is obviously the most immersive, but the driver's head moving about throws me. Car view just feels wrong with a wheel, even though it sounds amazing and looks pretty. I can't decide between cockpit view and bonnet view.

+Ryan Martin yeah I got my doubts on that one, as much as I love steam...wait and see what catches come with it vs the rift.

So I've had to put a barrier up across the path because the screed truck couldn't dump it into the site. The pedestrians started walking out onto the road without looking to see if a car was coming. So I put a barrier up for the pedestrians. And now the cars are blocking the other side of the road instead of waiting behind the barrier until the lights turn green and it's clear.
This is why we have so many mundane laws instead of relying on people's common sense.

More fool you for assuming 'sense' is common.

This is a beautifully minimal film of a craftsman and his art of creating a chair.
Watch only when you have full silence around you to get the full effect of the serenity of the sounds.

Its like Daft Punk meets Squarepusher meets The Prodigy with the glitch knob turned right up.
I'm not sure whether to appreciate or not to be honest. It's crisp.

I knocked up this little Icosahedron (20 sided shape) out of MDF after being inspired by this book and having a slight obsession of geometrical shapes.
http://projectprojects.com/anne-tyng/

It was quite fun as I had to put my maths skills to the test working out the cutting angles between the vertices and faces. What I was hoping to do was to use two pieces of wood for each face, but it's actually impossible, which I learnt after much experimenting with a sketched out flattened Icosahedron.

Still.. I was pretty happy with my little structure, it looks quite cool with a lamp inside.. I've now decided to buy some hardwood and create a bigger version for a garden sculpture.

Walking home from Tooting yesterday. Straight out of the camera. One of my favourite geometrical objects..the pylon, makes for an interesting focal point underneath the passing stormy clouds.
