Any PC wizards out there who can advise me?

I have an old soundcard which uses a PCI slot but my new motherboard only has PCIe slots. The motherboard does have very good inbuilt sound but it just doesn't compare to the angelic beauty my eardrums were filled with via the old soundcard.

So the question is..could I get this adapter
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Startech-com-PCI-Express-Adapter-Card/dp/B0037ECAM2
but use this extender cable to shift my card over to a free slot without having to hack my case to allow for the stacked height..

My sound card is this..

Since the original Sound Blaster Live and the EMU10K1 audio processor, Creative's new soundcard releases have been characterized by incremental jumps rather than revolutionary changes. Although the Audigy series was indeed a welcome improvement, it was still built upon features from previous ...

Ok. Looking at my options, to be comparable to what I had I would need to spend about £150 on something like an Asus Xonar Essence ST.
On researching though, I can use a DAC which connects via USB so obviously skips the soundcard or inbuilt audio. This is probably a better solution as I can use the DAC for other things too. This one looks a great option and I'm a big fan of Cambridge Audio..http://www.richersounds.com/product/dacs/cambridge-audio/dacmagic-100/camb-dac-mag-100-blk

Needs to be colder, not enough moisture upon outer glass indicating this.

If you feel like leaving a joke review on Amazon.. don't be a dick and make it a 1 star joke so as to unfairly downgrade the product.
Oh..and maybe actually be funny in the first place.

This is for a microwave I'm looking at buying..

It's 2016 in the UK and they still don't have fuel pumps that you input how much fuel you want and instead have to flutter the pump trigger and get £25.01.

So apparently if you put food out for the cat in the Android Nougat Easter egg, you'll get a vibration on your Android Wear watch from a cat.. the vibration being it's purring.

Maybe it's a Tamagotchi type thing - that electronic animal thing in the 90's that you had to feed etc. Except this one uses connected Google devices.. Maybe the Chromecast will start laying turds.

+Ryan Martin No that is not the point I'm trying to make. Lets not straw-man it down that route.

Simple as France had lots of people dressing up as ninjas killing people and with that they want to ban people dressing as ninja's.

that is fair enough.

But alas religious people being butt-hurt double-standards lot will cry foul and yet I'd rather have a few butt-hurt emoing religious people than dead bodies on the beech and that is the crux.

If they were allowed to dress like ninja's could they guarantee nobody will try killing in the name of there mass-delusion? No. SO until then they have to suck it up, like paying taxes and can winge all they like.

But heck as for equality, religion needs a right old kick up the ass and frankly sooner the better as I'm getting sick of religion in any form being given preferential treatment, resources and tax paying money as well as media air-time for what, a minority at the expense of the majority who do not care for this god-delusion in any flavour.

AS for equalities of sexes - you saying Islam treats men and women as equals? As if your are then you would be wrong.
Indeed many religions just as bad.

Ironical Scientology not killed in there name or have issues with sexual discrimination.

Ironic when Scientology is an example the other religions could follow and that puts the other religions into perspective for the shite they are.

But hey I'll not help promote sexual discourse of religions in any shape or form, hence for me they can all FOAD.

Dear Australia..

'On a still, chill evening at ANZ Stadium, on a surface fast and firm, with a full moon glowing benignly in the sky, the Wallabies were annihilated 42-8 – a record defeat on home soil by any side – by the clinical, slick and all-too-powerful All Blacks. It was men against boys. It was masters versus students in The Meaning of Life. It was a slaughter.'

Yesterday I climbed 1000 metres to 2052m above sea level on a 20km walk in the Tatra mountains.

The views were incredible and don't need #Prisma to show them off but thought this came out quite well after reducing the effect by 60% to add a painterly touch.
