It's here!! My skydiving rig came in yesterday. I'm so freaking excited. It's been a long 1.5 month wait for this thing, and unfortunately will be a bit longer before I can jump it. I still need to get my AAD and downsize into it. Wings container sized for a 190/190, articulated harness, stainless steel, spacer foam on back and leg pads, free fly pud, collapsible PC, cut in laterals, reserve boost, mini type 17 risers, wide chest strap, standard d-ring and red cutaway, and RSL. Thanks to Tony from wings for putting up with all my dumb questions about building a rig; wings has awesome customer service. Also thanks to Jairo for helping me sift through all the options, and helping me get measured properly because it fits like a glove. Can't wait to get this in the sky!

Two months no shave anniversary for my beard (this was taken on 3/19/14). So presently I'm at 2.5 months. My goal is a 6 month beard right now. Maybe longer; we'll see how it is at 6 if I can get there.

So not really skydiving related, and it might be stretching it a bit to put this up in here. However, it deals with some extreme parachute testing and I find it pretty cool. Delete it if you want, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Great design case study. Also I've always been a firm believer in not designing mobile first. Device first is the way to go. - "Mobile first creates churn, now we design ‘universal first,’ aiming to develop modular systems that maximize the experience on each screen, rather that churning as we jump from to screen to screen always yearning to redesign the last screen after finishing the current screen."

Absolutely great read... "Whatever the hot political topic of the day is, it has now become accepted that corporate America can – and should – be involved. Unless, of course, you don’t agree with their position…"

http://www.zdziarski.com/blog/?p=3140

I find it funny that people are protesting mozilla and angry at the CEO. The hypocrites are out strong with this one. They are all loving and kosher until you disagree with their opinion, and then they hate you with the same emotions that they are protesting. If you weren't aware - In 2008, Apple donated $100,000 to fight proposition 8, making a rather public fanfare out of it, while Eich spent 1% of that out of his own pocket to quietly support it (mind you, without fanfare, and without using Mozilla as clout).

Been waiting for this project to go live on kickstarter for awhile now. In fact they reached their 50K funding goal within 38 minutes of launching the campaign! Can't wait to get mine.

Recently purchased my first beard oil to help nurture this manivation on my face. Also picked up a large comb to keep it tame; both came from Beard Brand. Great products and the oil surprisingly does a great job. Keeps it really shiny without a greasy feeling, gives off a slight fresh scent, and keeps everything soft. The Tea Tree gives off a kind of a wintergreen smell that's crisp and cool. It has a peppermint with a hint of vanilla in the smell. The ingredients are jojoba, grapseed, almond, and castor oils with tea tree, vanilla, and peppermint essential oils.

Really love this little dive bar/cocktail lounge. It's in downtown and is kind of hidden; right across from the FL theatre. Service can be slow at times, but they make great drinks. If you can get service that is decent then it will be a fun place to be, but the bartenders while great at making drinks are a bit slow to respond. Drinks are priced alright as well. Pretty clean on the inside and the decor is pretty rad as well.

Very cool theatre. A little small, but I think it's perfect for what it serves and the location. Would love to come back and see more events here. Very clean and the stage area is gorgeous.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Absolutely amazing. The whole experience, the decor, and the food is awesome. I can't even remember what we ate because there were about 6 of us and we all ordered 2 dishes. Then we all shared each other's food. Do not pass this place up.

Service is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly. The chicken tastes really good and is hard to beat anywhere else. The mac n cheese is amazing. However other than the latter items i don't see much out of the food. It's a little over priced in my opinion. For a simple meal with an extra side of corn I paid around 15 bucks for not that much food. I'd come back, but it wouldn't be real high on my list.

I really want to give this a higher rating. I've heard good things. I stopped in for lunch and ordered a calzone. It was decent, but I've had a lot better. I'll have to come back and try some real food and see how it goes. However, the old man (I think he's the owner) was such a nice guy. So pleasant and personal.

Been here a couple of times. Great field, usually clean, cheap ticket prices, and there are good special nights like dollar beer Thursdays. What I don't like is the crappy prices for regular beers and food. I wouldn't complain so much if the prices actually matched the quantity of food you get. If you're going to charge us high prices for food at least give us a good portion of food like movie theaters do. I also don't like that almost everything must be paid in cash. There are easy ways to overcome the cash only issue now a days like using stripe.

First thing this is a CASH ONLY place. Sucks, but I had to go to the ATM down the street to get some cash. The people are fun, charismatic, and nice. However, I think I might be the minority here. I checked this place out because everyone claimed it had the best taco salad ever. Heck even the sign says it. I was pretty disappointed. It's really nothing special besides the hefty serving you get for the money. Tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, some beans, tomatoes, and a bunch of ranch dressing served in a box. It's nothing that I couldn't of made with ingredients I have at home and really it only took them a minute to bring it out to me after I ordered it. Maybe I just went in with much higher hopes from reading all these reviews. The pictures people posted of some of the other food though looks great. I might have to come back and give it one more chance to try something else. That club sandwich that was posted looks really good. I'd like to give the breakfast in a cup a try if I can wake up in time for it.
