The guy that develops #GPG4win can't afford to keep it going. Kinda a big deal to anyone who has used his software. If you have used the software before, now might be a good time to show your support: https://www.gnupg.org/donate/index.html

Please share. The GNUPG relies on one guy, who is going broke http://www.propublica.org/article/the-worlds-email-encryption-software-relies-on-one-guy-who-is-going-broke

Please donate to https://gnupg.org/donate/index.html

GNUPG is used by the package managers of  Ubuntu, RHEL, Debian and more.

 #gnu #linux
Werner Koch's code powers the email encryption programs around the world. If only somebody would pay him for the work.

this sounds (no pun intended) preposterous...
It sounds too preposterous for even James Bond: by placing a mobile phone next to a PC, researchers can “listen” to the faintest sound a CPU makes as it churns away on RSA-encoded content and extract the keys themselves. Preposterous, except for the fact that Adi Shamir, one of the co-developers of the RSA encryption algorithm, co-wrote the paper that describes how to do it. Daniel Genkin and Eran Tromer were the other two authors. This is ...

A little tutorial i wrote on manually rooting and installing stock 4.3 and the CWM recovery on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM in Linux

Wrote this tutorial on Manually rooting the Galaxy Nexus 4.3 GSM maguro yakju in Linux. Though there are guides already on how to do some of these steps, there are few guides that go through it manually, there are no guides on doing it through Linux, and the information is scattered all over the net so I pulled it all into the one post.

Apparently china isn't the biggest source of internet attacks now :-P
Attack traffic from Indonesia nearly doubled in the second quarter of 2013, according to Akamai's latest 'The State of the Internet' report. Read this article by Carrie Mihalcik on CNET News.

Lollipop factory image is installed and after a couple of attempts everything is now working properly. Had some issues with WiFi refusing to stay on but after a reflash it's all working

Animal cruelty in the civet coffee industry...something to be aware of if you are into being an ethical coffee drinker.
For the most part, civet coffee is not harvested in the wild in limited quantities but mass produced by animals kept in appalling conditions — it's high time we stopped drinking it

You have found the correct Ryan...or have you?
Female staff member is rude and it was a horrendous booking process. These guys never heard of card payment...At least they have an ATM i guess. The camp area is nice enough and the facilities are clean, the guy on in the evening is friendly but yeah the bad service at the outset from that particular staff member really detracted from what was otherwise a nice holiday
