Season 3 of Launch Control starts... NOW!
Following two challenging years of development, Subaru Rally Team USA puts everything they learned into new cars based on the 2015 Subaru WRX STI platform. Can the new sedan continue the winning streak for Higgins and Drew in the Rally America series? Will it bring more outright wins in Global Rallycross? It’s time to see …

I recently appeared on a local NBC affiliate news program to discuss off-road vehicles. You can watch the full show here: http://www.king5.com/story/entertainment/2015/04/30/evening-magazine-entertainment-april-29-2015-dare-dever/26636013/ (My segment begins around 24-minutes in.)

This is an event that I organize along with other NWAPA members every year. Of course, you won't see cars jumping or flipping over, because these are legitimate test days - not "see if you can destroy it" days. Though I don't vote on my personal favorites, since I don't drive every vehicle (as the organizer, course designer and video shooter at the event, I can't logistically do this.) I agree with most of the results. I would have chosen the 4Runner TRD Pro over the Ram Power Wagon in the Extreme category. But both were excellent.
Members of the Northwest Automotive Press Association gathered on the Washington Peninsula for the annual Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year test days, dubbed “Mudfest”. When all is said and done the members voted on  their favorites in a number of categories, including Compact, Premium Compact, Family, Premium, Extreme, Truck and Overall. Transcript Crossovers, SUVs, Trucks; all of …

So, this is what I'm up to today. Good times with the 2015 Subaru WRX.
Today’s subject: 2015 Subaru WRX for the AutoNation Test Drive web series. Shooting with a Sony A7S rigged into a Movcam cage, Jag35 rails and side handle (can’t see it in this shot), Sennheiser...

My review of the Bentley Continental GT V8 S.
Once the neglected step-child of Rolls Royce, Bentley has found new life under Volkswagen. The first offspring of this relationship is the Continental GT. Now with a V8, the newest version of the GT brings a new level of economy. Ryan takes the new Continental GT V8 S on the open road to see if a $250,000 …

Part 2 of my project car series for #drivingsportstv  featuring the 1991 Subaru Legacy!
In this episode of The Legacy Project, Ryan completes his 600 mile shakedown by visiting Michael Krastman in a remote part of Canada. Krastman, an enthusiast that defies the stereotype, built a naturally-aspirated WRX “equivalent” out of a base Impreza wagon.

Staying a night in Baltimore I was in the mood for Sushi. Ratings for Minato were good and it was near my hotel, so I went there. Maybe it's because I'm from Seattle, where Sushi restaurants are everywhere and the quality of sushi is quite high, but I wasn't impressed by Minato. It was just okay and was certainly overpriced.
