I will never get tired of looking for old buildings in the mountains, partly because some, like this one west of Rollinsville, Colorado, really make me wonder about their purpose.

The dilapidated living accommodations at a mine near Central City, Colorado suggest a large operation, but the tiny headframe in the background hardly seems adequate compared to the huge pile of rock that it helped to create.
