Ruth’s Parkside Café is hosting an American Can Factory Reunion. An afternoon presentation of gathered pieces of history, including pictures, music and fashion from the era of the 1920’s, when this factory, on the National Register of Historic Places, was being built. But most importantly, a sharing of stories from people who have had some connection to the building prior to its current incarnation.
There will be a short formal presentation followed by a passing of the mic for anyone who wants to share a brief story.
Ruth’s is looking for anyone who has a history with the building (worked at, family worked at, had a music/artist studio at) that may lend to the afternoon.
We are seeking any photographs or other artifacts related to the American Can Co., or the Cleveland Manufacturing Co., or any of the other businesses that were in this building and we welcome all help in spreading the word as quickly and widely as possible.
Ruth’s is not open on Sundays but snacks will be provided and a cash bar available.
Contact Mary or David at Ruth’s Parkside Café at 513-542-7884, or via email at info@ruthscafe.com or visit: www.ruthscafe.com

Open Saturday, July 4th from 11:30am to 10:00pm Featuring BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Elotes and our regular dinner menu. Carryout available all day. Come join us!
