Wedding Style with Harper Galway

I recently bought this pink and white dress in Harper Boutique for a Summer wedding. Harper is located on 12 Eglinton St, Galway.

I bought a yellow dress in Harper last Summer for a wedding that I loved, so I decided to visit Harper a few weeks ago to try find a new dress.

I met Martina, who is the owner of Harper and she was super helpful with helping me find the right dress dress. She gave me really honest opinions on what looked nice on me and suited me – which is so refreshing!

When I tried this dress on I loved it straight away. My favourite part was the detail around the waist and that it was so fitted.

It cost €75 which I thought was a very reasonable price, and I can wear it again to events such as the Galway Races.

Here’s What I Wore on the day;

I recently died my hair, and decided on a more natural balayage look. It was my first time to ever dye my hair a different colour (my hair has been platinum blonde ever since I can remember), so I am still getting used to it! I have platinum hair extensions in at the moment, and I just did ghd curls and also did my own makeup.

Hi guys! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a busy weekend, I was at the Galway Fashion Trail on Saturday. It was the first fashion trail of 2017, and I was really looking forward to catching up with all the other bloggers and seeing how everyone was keeping. I was also delighted to have an excuse to check out all the latest fashion in the stores in Galway.

I was recently invited to the Nox Hotel Galway to sample their menu and cocktails with a friend. I had never been to the Nox Hotel before but I had heard excellent reviews of the food and cocktails.

When I arrived at the hotel I waited in the lobby for my friend to arrive. I immediately loved the decor of the hotel as it was really modern and such vibrant colours.

On Tuesday I traveled to Dublin to the River Island Press Office to attend the River Island Spring/Summer Press Day. I love attending Press Day’s and getting a glimpse of all the outfits that will be on sale in store later in the year.

River Island is still one of my favourite retail stores, I love their shoes and handbags.

“River Island continues to offer a fresh and diverse range of trends for Spring Summer 2017. Leading the way with smart casual dressing this season sees an eclectic and original collection of trends. Accessorising is essential, with hero pieces becoming belts, multi chain necklaces and oversized and miniature bags.”

I recently attended a Winter Wedding in Ballintubber Abbey with the reception at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

First things first, I needed a new dress!

I love red dresses, especially at Christmas time, I think they are so festive! I always team a red dress with gold accessories and a red lip.

I did my hair and makeup myself, and my tan was Cocoa Brown tan.

My dress was from AX Paris, it was my first time buying a dress from AX Paris and I was actually really impressed. A lot of retailers and boutiques stock AX Paris dresses so I prefer to buy them straight from the website, as they are less expensive.

I was recently invited to McGettigan’s Galway to try their new food and cocktail menu with a guest.

I brought my boyfriend with me as he is a huge food lover also. We eat regularly in McGettigan’s, I really love their food. We also visit for drinks, I love their cocktails and they have an offer on Thursday and Friday nights – all cocktails for €5!

The A/W Galway Fashion Trail

I was delighted to be invited to the third Galway Fashion Trail which took place on Saturday the 5th of November in Galway city. It was hosted by Into The West Blogger Network (ITWBN), Galway now magazine and Goldenegg Productions.

The day started off with a Bloggers Breakfast in Colm Quinn BMW at 9.30am ahead of 8 fashion shows, before being treated to a luxurious breakfast, taking lots of selfies, and being chauffered uptown in the BMW cars to begin the Fashion Trail.
