Memory can make beautiful paintings. This one is powerful. Thanks for sharing!
Our adult son, Mike, joined us at the Ranch in Cashmere WA for the Christmas Holiday.  While reminiscing, he reminded me of a summer visit to the Ranch many years ago, when the forest fires were so intense, producing a dense ...

This was our third trip with Orange Torpedo, and our first doing the Rogue River in the inflatable kayaks. Our guides made sure everyone from my 5 year old godson to my college aged daughters to my 80 year old Mom had a wonderful time. They tailored the adventure to the abilities of the 14 people in our party with no sweat. My sister, who suffers from M.S. was able to do just part of the day in the kayak on one of her bad days, and I was very proud of her for completing the other two full days! It was fabulous to be able to experience the adrenaline of running the rapids, while knowing that our experienced guides were there to keep us safe and help us have fun. The lodges were a wonderful place to relax, enjoy good food, a glass of wine and a hot shower along with stories from the day. I can't wait to do it again!
