Introduction

I really enjoy being outdoors.  Strap on a pack, lace up the hiking boots, slap a camera in my hands, and point me in the direction of the mountains...and I'll be happy.  Living in the Midwest, several hours' drive from any mountains, this doesn't happen nearly enough!

I would avoid this place at all costs. Shame on me for not doing more research before moving my son in here in August. If you are reading these reviews, please take them to heart before making your decision. It really is as bad as many have stated here. First off, the good. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. Problem is, they are primarily college students who have limited ability to help with any real issues. Management is the root of the problem. On move-in day, we did not receive the floor plan as promised several weeks in advance. If we could have waited until sometime the next week, maybe one of those floor plans would have been available. However, when you are hundreds of miles from home with a tight schedule, there isn't much choice but to take what is available at the time. Advantage: Campus View. Maintenance is sub-par at best. We reported several issues when moving in, some of which have never been repaired. The light fixture in the bathroom stopped working. We tried new bulbs on our own, but that wasn't the problem. Finally fixed two weeks later... Who needs a light in their bathroom anyway? Advantage: Campus View. Customer Service is atrocious. Numerous phone calls and emails from our end to deal with issues and concerns have yielded no response...zero. Not a single call-back or email. Not really sure what else one can do... Advantage: Campus View. I will end there. I never write reviews, good or bad, but felt compelled to do so in this case. This cannot be the norm at all Campus View apartment complexes (I hope!). One thing you can be sure of...my son will not be back here again. You know the old saying, "Fool me once...". Advantage: me. EDIT: There seems to be no way to respond to the owner's response other than add to my initial review.... We have heard this all before. Before we had all the issues. When we were trying to contact someone to help us. Someone who would be courteous enough to return our calls. I lost track of how many times we called and left messages. Don't tell me that things have changed unless you are willing to prove it...beyond replying to a negative review on the internet.
