ARCS 2016 Annual Convention / Philadelphia & NYC
Old Rug Expertise…. and Old Rug Experts
Plan to join us in Philly and “The Big Apple” for the 2016 ARCS Annual Convention. This is a tremendous opportunity to immerse yourself in tradition and history. Traditional rugs may be going out of style, but expertise in old rugs still sets you apart from the crowd and can help earn your client’s respect.
What’s your “take-away”? This is a great time to improve your rug identification and appraisal skills and actually see and handle a lot of old rugs.
You will become the expert in your town.

Highlights: Material Culture Auction House, Glencairn & Philadelphia Art Museums; The Metropolitan Museum, NYC, and a tour at Rug Renovating. That’s just for starters. Stay tuned for more details.

After two full days of convention and serious rug-related business, ARCS would like to invite you to unwind in the swamp. Seriously, we are hoping to take a large group of our friends on a tour of the Louisiana swamp on Day #3 of the Annual Convention in New Orleans, March 4, 5, & 6. This is an option that attendees are welcome to join. The $75 fee includes transportation to and from the swamp, Louisiana-style lunch, and a professional tour of the swamp by boat. http://rugcarespecialists.org/NOLA

ARCS is grateful to several New Orleans area rug cleaning professionals who will be playing host at the ARCS Annual Convention in New Orleans in March 2014. Frank Cabrerra, Enrique’s Rug Cleaning, Eric Bauer, Russell’s Cleaning Service, and Larry Cobb, Cobb Carpet Supply, welcome guests and share their hands-on experience and knowledge. Round out the day by enjoying a cocktail reception and talk given by Sharon Schenck of NOLA Oriental Rugs. We wish to express our gratitude for what these professionals bring to the convention.
