just noticed yesterday

Take a good look at the Explore tab in Instagram
Instagram is trying to make its "Explore" section feel more personal, rather than overload users with photos from celebrities they care little or nothing about. Or at least that's the idea, a...

Wish this was out sooner. You need a new phone ASAP, tor.

It looks super nice and at this price, this will likely be Rebecca's next device as well. That GNex won't live forever.

We are finally here. Today, we show the OnePlus One to the world. Click here to learn more about the One: http://oneplus.net/ #OnePlusOne #NeverSettle

no, i doubt it +Eddie Sanders. and you got a hell of a deal on the One.

hopefully my wife will be back to work by the time this is released and i will pick one up as a spare. haha

my daughters have a Galaxy Nexus and S3 so i'm sure one of those phones will die sooner or later so the OnePlus will be a good backup.

Either my wife is following the +OnePlus release a lot closer than I thought or she has way more confidence in my +Android Central photo contest submission than I do. ;)

looks very cool so far
If there's one thing that's driven us — and you — crazy about the OnePlus One, it's been the overhyping process of slowly dribbling out specs, pricing, sale processes, and vague hints about how the smartphone will compare with current flagship devices. We tired so much of it that we opted to ignore the noise until something cut through that was truly interesting — and a series of...

here's something on that chick you read, tor

On the subject of mental health, there's this article about +Allie Brosh, someone I'm sure most of you are familiar with.

Her posts on depression have been very spot on, and while no two people suffer anything quite the same way, it's been fantastic finally having a clear, simple depiction of the basics of the internal darkness to reference non-sufferers to.

From the article:
Speaking ahead of an American book tour from Bend, Oregon, where she lives with her husband and their two dogs and seven pet rats, Brosh said her connection to legions of other depression sufferers has turned out to be a mutually beneficial feedback loop. “Depression is such an isolating experience, and there’s a tendency to feel like you’re the only one experiencing that depth or that exact brand of misery. And so it was surprising to hear how much it resonated with people,” she said. Just as importantly, people who’ve never experienced the condition write to her and say, “Oh wow, I understand it now.”

Allie, you're so very appreciated. ♥

We love bringing our out of town friends to HM. The food is tasty and the staff is always fun (especially our boy Jerry haha). The OMG sized drinks are pretty ridiculous... so definitely give them a try if you have a friend or two with you. We usually stick to the salads but the burgers are awesome too. We really like the food but it's the atmosphere that makes this place worth it. Any night of the week is good as most nights have some wacky event going on (drag queen shows, bingo, trivia, burlesque...) that just add to the craziness.
