Introduction

When long-time friends and colleagues Stuart Rudner and Natalie MacDonald decided to formally collaborate and join forces in the creation of a boutique employment law firm, they immediately became the go-to experts for anyone facing challenges in the workplace.

Rudner MacDonald works with employers to achieve a legally strategic approach to HR designed not only to ensure compliance and minimize liability, but also to maximize use of our clients’ most valuable resources: their employees. We are your HR partner.

Rudner MacDonald works with clients at all stages and on all aspects of the employment relationship. Stuart and Natalie have extensive experience addressing contracts, policy manuals, discipline, dismissal, harassment, bullying, investigations, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, downsizing, the sale of a business, social media usage, and much more.

Their commitment is to deliver top quality service, in a cost-effective manner, utilizing technology and alternatives to the billable hour where appropriate, to provide prompt, responsive legal solutions and cost certainty.

With a combined 27 years of experience filled with accomplishments and success stories, both Stuart and Natalie have been repeatedly named among Canada’s Top Employment Law Practitioners.

Natalie MacDonald is the author of ‘Extraordinary Damages in Canadian Employment Law’, the only text of its kind.  Stuart Rudner has contributed to several books, and is the author of ‘You’re Fired! Just Cause for Dismissal in Canada.’
