Does anyone remember +dave cormier's article/paper on Community as Curriculum? If yes, could you please post the link here? Thanks in advance.

+dave cormier, if you happen to be reading this post, would you consider sparing 5 minutes to post any advice for my students (who are studying about Community and Curriculum)?
Calling upon my PLN for help....

FYI, I'm collaborating on a fully online graduate summer course right now, and am in need of input/advice.

Any suggestions on short articles for students regarding effective on-line discourse? Specifically about civil discourse in on-line spaces, especially with contentious curriculum. The summer course will address complex spaces in some readings, so the purpose of this short article would be to frame the discussion beforehand.

Any thoughts, anyone?

RE:"Every faculty member who has taught in a distance learning program has actually been a part of a disguised initiative for faculty development."

Is this surprising?
Or not?
Any thoughts?

Key quotation (or excuse?):
“It’s still very early days and universities are still experimenting with how blended learning works,” he said. “They may just not have got blended learning right yet or students may not feel properly supported.”

(who did I leave out? sorry... it's been so long since I've posted... but I just had to share this one... It struck me as ironic, since everyone is lauding blended right now)
