I writing this review in hopes the owner of the Dealership can see how one customer was treated. Time line: July 12,2016 I called and spoke to a internet sales girl concerning a 2016 Veloster that was listed on their website. It was a base model without sunroof. I asked her if they had the model with the sun roof and she said that one just came in. I asked her for a quote over the phone and she told me it was $17527.00. I asked her to send a quote to my email with a total out the door price. She sent the quote listed below. I read the quote and the way it's worded the price of the car is $17527.00 including CT tax registration and delivery. I thought that was a very good internet deal so I called her back and asked her if that was the total price, she confirmed it was. She then asked me if I wanted to put a deposit down. I told her that I would call her back after talking it over with my wife. I told my wife the total price of $17527.00 and she said go ahead and give the internet sales girl a deposit. I called internet sales girl back and put a $200.00 deposit down on the car. I told her we would be in to finalize the deal. July 13,2016 I decided to go to the dealership to purchase the car. When I got to the dealership I asked for the internet sales girl . She came out to meet me and then gave me to a salesman. The salesman and I went for a test drive. After the test drive went went in to do the paperwork. When we got to the down payment part I told him that I was going to finance $10,000.00 and pay the balance of $7,527.00 which, minus the down payment was $7322.00. The salesman questioned my figures and I noticed an approx $19,000.00 price on the folder that had my name on it. I showed him the email quote I got from internet sales girl and he then went to see the sales manager. He came back with the manager. The manager told me that the $17,527.00 wasn't the quote total and then said the price of the car is $17,527.00 and the total amount is represented in the financed amount. I asked him If the $17,527.00 wasn't the total amount then where is it? He circled the financed part of the email and told me that this is the total. As there are no total dollar figures shown there I question how any reasonable person could determine the actual total out the door cost to me. I told him about internet sales girl and my phone call to confirm the price and it fell on deaf ears. I said to the manager that the total price should be $17,527.00 and he bluntly told me that no I was wrong and that's the price I wanted it to be. At this point I had enough of the bait and switch and told them to tear up all the paperwork that we did and to return my deposit. This is the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I lost four hours of work to purchase the car. Here is the received quote from the internet sales girl : We do have the 2016 Veloster with the style package which has the roof in the Vitamin C. This quote reflects CT tax and registration and 5k down. The selling price of the car is $17,527. If you finance for 72 months at 2.29% your monthly payment will be $212.60. If you go 60 months at 1.9% your monthly payment will be $249.79 or 60 months at 2.29% $230.63. If you would like to put a deposit to hold the vehicle and lock in price just let me know. Thanks! From the way the above is worded to me and others that I've shown this to the total price including CT tax, registration and car was to be $17,527.00.

My wife and I visited this dealership a couple weeks ago and was surprised by the outstanding customer service from Peter Charlebois. He is unbelievably easy to relate to and makes you feel so comfortable. He worked his magic to get us into the car of our dreams! I have never had such a great experience at a dealership to date! Keep up the good work Peter! Its great to know that there are still great salesman out there today!

My fiancé had previously purchased a car from this dealership in 2009. It was a great car, dependable and well worth the money. We recently visited the dealership and he decided to buy a new car after they offered him a great deal on a "last year model". Although the the salesman was "new", he stated he had worked at another Hyundai dealership, yet he couldn't answer any of the questions we had. He handed us off to the business manager, who seemed like we were bothering him. After waiting for almost 3 hours for the car to be cleaned, we were sent away with an unclean car and a promise from our salesman that they would "take care of the issue" when my fiancé brought back the car to process the registration and pick up floor mats. Three days later, he arrived at the dealership, waited another 3 hours, and the car was still not clean! He called and left a message with Peter, the customer service representative who returned his phone call the next morning. Peter heard my fiancé's concerns and reassured him he would call him back by the end of the day with a solution to the problem. Unfortunately, here we are, another 24 hours gone by, and no answer from anyone at the dealership. To top it off, they put one of their rte 44 decals on the car while they were "cleaning it" the second time around. It speaks volumes that they couldn't fulfill their promise to clean the car, but felt it necessary to find the time to place a decal on the car. We will never purchase a car at this dealership again, however, the Hyundai brand is great and is well worth the investment.

The salesman lied to me about the car being available. He had me come to the dealership (I live on the vineyard so leaving the island is no small feat). He handed me off to some other jabroni who showed me two cars, neither of which I wanted as it was not what I was explicitly clear that I wanted. They tried to charge me more for what I didn't want, and to get what I did want, all the sudden the price is 850 higher to locate the vehicle. They were hoping that because I'd come so far, I would be more easily convinced to spend more money. NOT SO, YOU LYING DIRTBAGS.

Got a good deal but it cost a lot of pain on my side. Buying a car sucks and these guys didn't help at all. Still, a good deal because I was willing to endure the torture of talking to their salesmen.

Just bought a car here Last sunday, I will say that Dean was a nice salesman, he was very patient, never got annoyed or frustrated, i never got an attitude from him or pressure. He was very helpful. HOWEVER, I'm not sure how everyone else in charge runs this place but my car was paid INFULL on the sunday. They never took my car to get it registered till that friday. A WHOLE WEEK LATER, mind you they knew I did not have any transportation. Unfortunately, there was a hold on my account at the registry and I had to wait till monday. I resolved the issue and they told me after waiting all day, there was still a block and could not register my car, now this is going on week two. I went to the dealership myself got the papers and took it to the RMV where i registered it with no problem and they said there was no hold on my account and that it was cleared????? It has been such a frustrating experience, my dad has called laura in finance multiple times with no response or answer. To top it all off, they charged me a 400 DOLLAR DOC FEE. Im sorry but when you are less than professional and can't get your daily responsibilities that you have towards your clients right, you have no business charging ridiculous amounts of money for a Doc fee!!!!! I will never send anyone here to buy a car and I didn't ask for your route 44 sticker on my car thank you, and so i peeled it off!

I'd give that place 0 stars if possible. The words I have to describe that place is liars, money hungry, scavengers, deceitful people, untrustworthy, ETC. Everyone: SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR DEALERSHIP! The individuals filling up the ratings page with super positive reviews must work there. Or used to. You see different faces there every 6 months.

Rt. 44 Hyundai was amazing and got me into a car I love. Austin was my salesman he did an awesome job. I highly recommend him. He helped get me into a Jeep which is my dream car, while making the process as smooth as possible. Great experience! Will return to buy another car off him one day.
