Round Rock has experienced a fair amount of power outages since the storm last night.  For power outages in our area, ONCOR is the company to call.  888-313-4747.  You will need to enter the phone number that was used when you established your account with your retail electric provider.  For more information on power outages and ONCOR please visit the web page below:

The electricity market in Central Texas continues to be 'stable.'  In fact, over the last several months the commercial electricity rate has dropped a fair amount and is now holding.  If you own a business, or know someone who does, NOW is a good time to lock in a low rate for that business.

Even if you are in a contract now, you can secure TODAY's rates. When your current plan expires, you will seamlessly move into your new rate at that time.  Got to love technology. Allows you to take advantage of today's rates many months down the road.

Call us to get an audit of your current situation.  There is no cost, and we won't suggest you 'make a move' unless it looks right for you.  SIMPLE AS THAT.  Hey, we have to sleep at night, so no shenanigans from us.  We'll spout the truth and let the chips fall where they may!

The Short Term Energy Outlook by the Energy Information Administration was released a couple days ago. Decent news for electricity consumers. 2015 electricity rates look to remain stable if projections are correct.

Just some helpful information regarding the new digital electricity meters.

Have you ever arrived at home to find the power off and then you get a bad feeling that you may have missed paying the bill on time?

But wait, maybe there is a power outage in your area?

How can you know for sure?

Well, with today’s advanced technology electricity meters you can know without making a phone call!

Just walk outside and take a look at your electricity meter. It’s usually on the side or the back of the house.

The meter will be ‘flashing’ a sequence of codes and numbers. Most meters will show as described below. You want to look for one of three status indicators. The meter will take about 10 seconds to cycle through flashing these indicators. Look for:

The flashing letters “CLS”
The flashing letters “OPN”
A BLANK screen
(The one you DON'T want to see is "OPN")
