What a great day on the Oregon Coast! We had a blast exploring Neskowin. Bill and Betty beat the heat with ice cream, while Rick enjoyed the view. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Helene left with unending smiles and a big wave to say goodbye for now, Neskowin. This summer we have requests to visit different local beaches. Neskowin is just one of our summer beach trips.  All residents are invited to our monthly activity planning meetings. Residents speak and we listen! Where will our next journey take us? Watch for updates! #seniorliving #Neskowin #OregonCoast

Two of our residents who taught together at Parson’s College were featured in a special section in our local newspaper today. Parson's College was a private liberal arts college in Fairfield from 1875 to 1973. Vera was a student at Parson’s College in the 1940’s and went on to teach there for more than 25 years until the college closed. She also married a fellow faculty member. Vera talked about what a great joy it was to see the men return to campus after serving in WWII. Bob, who has a PhD in history, came to Parson’s from Chicago. He taught at the college for 18 years until it closed. Now they enjoy reminiscing about their time at the college, along with another resident who was one of Bob’s students, over a cup of coffee at Sunnybrook. #GoldenYears #SeniorLiving

Reunited and it feels so good! Former resident, Lois, came back for a visit during Happy Hour on Wednesday. Can you tell she and Diane are happy to see each other? Take a moment to remember a friend you have great memories with... reach out and let them know you are thinking about them. #friendsforlife #SeniorLiving

We can't stop talking about how fun Mother's Day Tea was! We had over 100 in attendance including several families that shared this special day with up to 4 generations. Glenola stopped to strike a pose in her tea bonnet!

Lynn and Barb made some beautiful welcome signs in one of the many art classes offered at Rosewood Park. It is nice to see the creativity of our residents!

Buenos Dias! We had a great time celebrating Cinco de Mayo this weekend. Smiles were everywhere! Multiple generations were here enjoying the traditional Mexican food made by our chefs. We even had homemade tortillas!
