I had my first tasting panel meet yesterday and learnt about palate calibration... if your thoughts went straight to what you often do with your printer inks to get them to accurately dispense colour... then you’re on the right track! #providoretasting +VisitCanberra #food #VisitCanberra #Canberra

As part of the ACT Heritage Festival, the Macedonian Orthodox Church, built in 1988, had an open day where we learned about the differences between orthodox Christians rites and Catholic rites. The gorgeous frescos depict Christ as the centerpiece, motifs from the New Testament, the twelve apostles and religious events. +VisitCanberra +ACT Government +Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development #travel #culture #Canberra #VisitCanberra

Llamas are my newest obsession. I have never seen one up-close until recently. They are tall, have a calm demeanour and are cuter than pugs. They have soft fur, adorable ears and round bellies but I was only interested in one llama in particular… his name is Mahogany. With his perfect red polka-dotted bowtie, this South American domesticated camelid was hard to resist. He lives in Sutton (Alpaca Magic), just a thirty-minute drive from Canberra. #travel #CanberraRegion #AustTravBlog +VisitCanberra

We finally found a Malaysian restaurant in Canberra which we think serves authentic Malaysian food that would make any Malaysian proud. There was a buzz about this new restaurant in town sometime in December last year and that’s when we first heard of it. Then, one of our friends Tony, went there and had a feast—he raved about the mud crab dishes and we thought we should give it a try. But it was only in mid of February this year when Rosemarie suddenly developed an intent craving for chicken rice, did we decide to try this simple fare at Madam Lu Malaysian restaurant. #food #canberra #VisitCanberra #restaurantreview +VisitCanberra
