Happy that we had our largest group of graduates from the program yet. Congratulations to all of our students!

And that's a wrap! Google Summer of Code 2015 has come to an end. Congratulations to the 916 students who passed their final evaluations and have completed the program this year! We had a great program and hope you did too.

So sad to miss OSCON this year.

13 year old Keila Banks stole the show with her keynote. Definitely a MUST watch. She's redefining labels as a coder and gamer.

This little girl is very inspirational. Seeing herself as a super hero. Love it! Natalie McGriff just became my super hero. She has a thing or two to teach us adults.

Love this concept. #Goodieboxx is helping urban sustainability and Walk-ability thru non-traditional retail innovation. This is the type of innovation we need in our urban neighborhoods.  #impactjourney   #crowdfunding

Changing the World through Inclusive Tech Ecosystem and Community Engagement
Introduction

------------------ All posts are my own. ---------------------

Helping to build innovation by creating a more inclusive tech ecosystem.

I've worn many hats and held various roles in start-ups, large consulting firms in government, non-profit and industry.  I am changing the world through contributing to open source projects, continuous technology learning, software/development and tools, and collaborating with great innovative minds.  I openly engage in great technical communities, discussions about gender, sexual preference and racial equality and encourage young people, especially in underrepresented groups and under-served communities, to enter STEM fields.

Bragging rights
4,500+ Systers who are my technical muses, 1 teenage high schooler, 1 college kid, fabulous hubby and great family and friends. Rode down highway 1 and realized I was afraid of heights. Came back to Georgia and went skydiving to conquer my fears.
