My connection to Ronald Reagan was his visit down south to have fun! Independence day 1984. I saw USAF SAM 27000 land and the president exit the aircraft at Daytona Regional Airport. Mr. Reagan was Grand Marshall of "Firecracker 400" at Daytona International Speedway. The library was located like the "shining city on a hill." He gave us a vision. Beautiful. I cried Thanks for having me. I am USAF Vietnam vet.

One of my favorite presidential Museums. You feel patriotic and proud to be an American. They have a ton of great information and it is well laid out.

I had been here several years ago, not long after the Air Force One pavilion was built and really liked it. I returned this time and was pleased to see the exhibits had been updated with lots of interactive displays. This is a well-executed story of a great president and absolutely beautiful setting.

I stopped by the Presidential Library on my last trip to Los Angeles, and remain impressed with the location, size, quality and layout of this facility. What an adventure. The only thing I need when I get here is more time. There is so much to read and absorb that my brain input is full and I need a rest, but i plod on, reading the history of this President and the many ways in which the world was changed. For me I live through this Presidents term so it is a trip down memory lane to fill in some information and alight events on a time scale. Having an Air Force One 747 in the museum is impressive. This is my favorite Presidential Libraries (I have been to 2 others, and still need to get a couple more to complete the set!) Come early, spend the day and have a picnic on the hill with history.

If you pay attention to the negative reviews, they are all very clearly politically motivated and do not give an accurate picture of the library. So, let me try to give an objective review: (1) The locations is spectacular, w/a marvelous view of Simi Valley high above the rolling heals. (2) The grounds are peaceful, quite, relaxing, very "presidential". (3) The architecture and exhibits are world class. (4) A fully furnished oval office is recreated full scale. (5) You can walk through Air Force One and Marine One, see Reagan's limo, etc. (6) There are detailed and interactive displays from Reagan's childhood, acting career (props and costumes), governorship, and presidency. (7) There are gifts from all over the world from various leaders and dignitaries on display. (8) There is also part of the Berlin Wall, the collapsed World Trade Center, Reagan's grave, etc. (9) Often, there are temporary exhibits of great interest. Recent exhibits have included cars from the Peterson Automotive Museum, artifacts from George Washington, etc. etc. (10) Tour guides and volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly (11) Admission is very reasonable. The Reagan Library is a must see if you are in this area.

A beautiful library during a time that is most memorable for me in my young adult life. A beautiful view from every angle. Airforce One and all of the Presidential vehicles are wonderful to see. Fabulous seasonal exhibits! Well thought out.

'Tho' i've only been to 5, this is the only presidential library i know of that has an entire room dedicated to his relating to the average American! The museum staff is perfection personified; exceedingly well trained, not just at their own post, but of the entire museum, library, & especially their fellow staff-members. I'm a reporter who covered Reagan while in office; until i went there i tho't i was the only 1 who knew particular trivia; I was wrong! The exhibit regarding the attempted assassinaction is spell-binding... I felt as tho' i was standing right next to Hinckly... utterly amazing!
