Introduction
Worked for an electrical distributor for 38 years, Fitzpatrick Electric & Kendall Electric, and then retired in Sep 2007. Moved down to Charlotte, NC from Muskegon, MI. Love living back down here. I have a Blog for my road trips. Ron's Road Trips I also have created a webpage about my 4 years as an Navy FMF Corpsman attached the the Marines at Camp Lejeune NC. (1964-68)

For those who served at Camp Lejeune, you may want to check this site out about the water contamination between 1957 - 1987. Semper Fi - Always Faithful

This is a must see park here in NC. The views are fantastic and just loved the mountains, the trees, and Chimney Rock Village. We have been here twice now in the past 3 weeks, and will come back again. It's a very relaxing area even though you do need to do some walking to get to the top, but it's well worth it.

Shorted me a 20 pc chicken nugget. Should have checked my order before leaving. Had to drive back 4 miles to get a replacement. Lesson learned. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING THE WINDOW.

Had the Southern Fried Chicken and I had never had chicken like this before. It was excellent. So tender and juicy on the inside. Gotta go back for more of the chicken and/or try the ribs next OR the Carolina Chopped BBQ Sandwich. This place is a must stop for lunch or dinner.
