Ron Ng originally shared:

On my ride today, up in the high hills of W. Alpine, it was not really that clear, so couldn't see anything.  It wasn't hazy, but smoky, although it wasn't getting into my lungs ... I could still breath fairly well.

Then I get home, do some searching, and then I see this, and a quote from the National Weather Service in San Francisco Bay Area:

Smoke from 7 wildfires in far Northern California along with north winds is bringing smoke into the Bay Area. The smoke will continue into Sunday. The winds will shift on Monday blowing the smoke out of the area.

So it may not be a good weekend for scenic overlooks around here.  Plus it's freakin' hot around here.

Oy, Google really screwed things up with Photosphere when they separated Photos from G+.  I can't view photos in the Photosphere format when in Photos .. I would have to see it on the shared page on G+ in order to see that.  I guess one alternative is to share it in Collections (not the Photos Collection, but the G+ Collection) ... confused yet?  I sure was.

Edited: But I can view them in Photosphere from my Android phone.  Oh, forgot to clarify .... the Photosphere viewing problem is on the Chrome browser.

I've noticed the same thing and it is annoying. I would really like to view my photospheres on my computer in the browser.

Crank 2 is the best LBS I have ever been to. They originally sold Tandem bikes only, but they have expanded, and now, they are a Volagi dealer. I bought my Liscio there, and they really know their stuff, and will do anything to resolve a mechanical problem. I brought mine in about a month after buying it, complaining about a creak in the frame. We took everything apart, and eventually got rid of the creak. I highly recommend this place, no matter how far you have to drive. I live in Santa Clara, and will go out of my way to Pleasanton to visit these guys.

This is a favorite of mine when I visit my dad in Monterey Park. Bitter Melon with beef with fish is what we always order. They are all so friendly, and they immediately know what to cook when we step in the door.
