Cycling season is back. It was last weekend, anyway. Outstanding day to put in 26 miles last Saturday. Here, the Burlingame end of the Bay Trail. With spotty rain forecast, I think I’ll swim today instead.

Writing user stories. Hard? Three free video lessons from my guru on user stories, Mike Cohn, the guy who created the user story format we all use. Only until March 29. They’re a teaser for his advanced user story course - but the best teaser I’ve seen - solid content: how to come up with stories, how to split stories, and more. Really good stuff. Product Owners may want to buy the whole thing, but every one of us doing scrum wants to watch the freebies.

I hadn't looked at satellite view of SF in a while: Half of Sunset Reservoir is now covered with solar panels. The project tripled the city's supply of renewable energy.

Yet another 5-Star review: "Exactly what I was looking for. Finally a book about managing developers BY developers. I am head of engineering at a start up (and a developer myself) and really needed a read that would reflect my experiences as a developer AND as a manager. I will be getting this book for our library for all new managers at our company to reference. It is so great."
