En av de tyngsta, svåraste men viktigaste lektioner i min lärarkarriär är också den mest fantastiska jag varit med om. Jag tror eleverna känner likadant.

En lektion i hat och näthat som jag aldrig glömmer.

Irony /ˈʌɪrəni/ (noun) : Google paying for ads for Adwords on Facebook.

The "My maps" part of Google Maps is great, except for the times you really have a use for it - typically, going on a trip abroad, without internet availability. you plan the trip, add stuff to a map, just to realize, once again, there's no way you can actually view the contents of my map while offline.

I got excited when I saw that the actual 'my maps' is stored on my Google Drive... but still no game. That file can't be saved offline in my phone, ur used in the maps app.

Oh well, let's just print some nice-looking PDF's and save them on my phone? Nope! None of the print views are actually usable, unless you zoom in on block level (and in densely populated areas, probably not even then), as the whole thing adheres to WYSINWYG and you can't get the actual street data of your selections in the printed version!

(also, why does the stupid print dialog reset to 'Letter' every time I print? It's not like I've changed continent in the last 2 minutes)

Best solution I've found so far: Take screen shots of what's in your browser, save them in your phone, hope that you actually manage to find it in the f***ing gallery software and can view them.

So, yesterday (April 24th) was "Watch Firefly Day". Which episodes did you watch? Personally, I started from the beginning...
