I picked the wrong hotel. It's only slightly cooler than the oven outside. At least the subway is brutally air conditioned like everywhere should be!

Sadly most of the  hotels in Prague are not ready for weather like this. My flat is even hotter than outside....

First full day in London, doing Tourist Central.  The only place I've actually visited inside so far is Westminster Abbey (paid respects at the tomb of Newton!).

The better question is: What are you going to do with these things? Drill holes in them and carry them on a key chain? Jingle them in your pocket? :-)

Neat!  The shoes on the line are odd.

I have to admit I was wary when I saw links to this popping up in my streams, but after less than a minute I was in awe. Incredible production values, and, no stupid story...

Eggs Benedict was just fine. Latte served a bit too hot but not unusual.

Laid back neighborhood feel. No trouble getting a table on Wednesday evening, lively but not at all loud. The garlic butter served with the bread is addictive. Very nice salad with avocado and hearts of palm. The Argentinean tenderloin with Roquefort sauce was just what you'd expect.
