Not only was this my first time in San Francisco, it was my first trip here. I had to come back a second night during my 5 day trip, just to make sure I was able to try everything I wanted. The food was fresh and the flavors were incredible. First Wagyu beef experience and I can never have it anywhere else. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

The food was fine! But ... But .. They kept the entrance door open! And we were freezing and couldent take off my jacket.. We asked many times to close tge door or change our table but they just ignored us! We will never come back here again .. And if you dont wana catch a cold! Please dont try because basically you are sitting in the street while you are paying very heavy bill!!!!!'n

Food is good, specially the meat. Very polite and nice service, but a lot of wait in between dishes, kills the experience! The ambiance is very normal, and nothing special. Overpriced for the size of the dishes! And if you have gluten allergies almost nothing to order here! Almost every plate has been marinated in a sauce that they can't separate the sauce!

The food was good, but the dishes were small and too expensive... Nothing out of this world. The service was ok. Overall, the quality doesn't reach its pricing. Besides, our table was near the door an we were freezing the whole time.

My husband and I came to visit San Francisco from Minnesota to celebrate our Anniversary. We love eating sushi. We thought we would try out Kusakabe but they were booked so the host was kind enough to refer us over to Roka. We are glad we got the opportunity to try out this restaurant. It was a great experience. My highlights of the night was the wonderful atmosphere and great service by our server and all the staff. We really enjoyed our food. We will definitely recommend this to others. My favorite dish would be the grilled scallops and the baby back ribs!

Omakase was acceptable at the price point. Highlight was the dessert.

The lamb chops with Korean spices were particularly good. Also, highly recommend corn with butter
