This airplane makes me sad.  It has been sitting in this hangar for as long as I can remember.  I have attempted to reach out to the owner to no avail.  The tires are flat the lichens are growing on the paint.  I doubt it can be salvaged.

I see. Truly a sad story. I suppose staying in touch with the owner and checking in every now and than is your only option at this point. That and offering to hangar the plane to prevent further damage if you happen to have unused space.

Our rights are not granted by governments. They are inherent to our nature. But it's entirely the opposite for governments: their privileges are precisely equal to only those which we suffer them to enjoy.

-- Edward Snowden

I don't agree with Snowden's methods.  But we all would do well to understand his quote above.  It is an echo of Jefferson's statement from the Declaration of Independence.   "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"
Hello reddit! Laura Poitras and Glenn Greenwald here together in Los Angeles, joined by Edward Snowden from Moscow. A little bit of context:...

Georgetown Law holds seminars instructing students on how to stick taxpayers with the maximum writeoff.

And I am sure they are not alone.  I am definitely going about life all wrong. No bail out on my house, no cash for clunkers, and now I discover that I could be sticking the feds with my kids' college tuition. Crap. I need to get on the dole.
How to turn rising defaults into ‘savings’ that politicians spend, the Wall Street Journal writes in an editorial.

I take the bus to work.  I left my truck at the park and ride, as I have for the last 4 years.  As I approached my truck this evening there was a large wet area on the blacktop and the strong smell of gasoline.  I looked under my truck and found an evil doer had drilled a hole in my gas tank.

My truck has a 30 gallon plastic tank, and it was probably about 3/4 full.  So about 25 gallons of gas.  Assuming they had a 5 gallon can, they got $13  of gas while $50 of gas leaked on to the ground.

Let's just imagine they had a cheap drill and bit at just $25 dollars.  Factor in the time and risk involved, and they lost money.  As did I.

Idiots.

+Driftrboy Gaming, it is not always possible to sit and watch a car.  Read the post.  Your plan works fine at home, at a diner, or a conveniences store.  But not in a large lot, nor when you are leaving the vehicle and going some other place.

Q:  How can you are in a room with a pilot?

A:  They will tell you.

Reason 0)  We say so!
How do you know when there's a pilot in the room?

Not really a pilot, just play one on weekends. Write derivative tracking and trading software. Click ads of political campaigns I disagree with just to make them pay the click-through fee.

It is never good to have a car die on the side of the road. But a call to the neighborhood tow truck got me and my car home quickly. And for less than the estimate I was given on the phone! Safe and warm.

I have been flying with Regal Air since 1995, and had an airplane on lease-back with them since 1999. They have consistently treated me well, and provided meticulous care for my plane. The are well run and professional. If you are considering flying in the Seattle area, consider Regal!
