I am not alone in my criticism of what +Google has mistakenly calls "strategy."
Google is about to release Allo, its fourth messaging app, and Eric Schmidt has also created a paradox we'll call the Cannibal Paradox. How will Google resolve it?

These problems are made even worse by companies like Verizon wireless and Motorola Mobility (nee Lenovo) who sell flagship phones and then abandon then in under a year. Google should "certify" tiers of devices based on the manufacturers commitment to upgrade.

The other day, my youngest daughter and I were walking, and she pointed to the ground and said "Careful Dad, don't step in that pile of Google vision!"

Allo and Duo are all set to become Google’s main consumer chat plays, but Hangouts will still exist and will be focused on business users. #News #GoogleAllo #GoogleDuo
Could Google’s new one-to-one video calling app Duo and its soon-to-arrive text-based messaging app Allo become the “Hangouts killers?” Duo’s current roll out on Android and iOS and Allo’s expected arrival has raised questions over the survival of Hangouts, which was launched more than three years ago.According to a report on Engadget, Hangouts will still be around, though Google will now focus the product on its business users. That’s pretty muc...

Dear #googlehangouts development team.

If you are going to put the effort into changing the hangouts app, here are my suggestions.

1). Fix the random frequent crashes / restarts.
2). Add the ability to delete a single message without deleting the entire conversation.

Removing useful features like SMS integration and merged conversations (especially for #googlevoice users) is just a waste of time and alienates loyal users.

Maybe later I will rant about how bad sharing YouTube videos recently became, or how schizophrenic the instant messaging ecosystem has become. The Google experience is just getting worse and worse.

And worse.

Our daughter was invited to a friend's birthday party at Taekwondo Way, and she decided she wanted to join and take lesson. We have never regretted our decision to support her. Master Ahn has been consistent and positive, and has gotten her to be excited to excel. She has also made several very good friends who are strong, positive role models. She has learned poise, confidence, hard work, and the value of commitment. And she has earned her first degree black belt! We are very happy with Taekwondo Way, and highly recommend them.

It is never good to have a car die on the side of the road. But a call to the neighborhood tow truck got me and my car home quickly. And for less than the estimate I was given on the phone! Safe and warm.

I have been flying with Regal Air since 1995, and had an airplane on lease-back with them since 1999. They have consistently treated me well, and provided meticulous care for my plane. The are well run and professional. If you are considering flying in the Seattle area, consider Regal!
