Take your time and savor the tastes and experience! The food and service were impeccable from the moment we arrived to the end of a great night. Starting with their signature cocktail, to an extremely clean and well stocked food bar filled with exotic dishes representing several diverse cultures and many flavors. Moving slowly through the choices and making sure that each item was given its' full attention, our party moved to the star of the show, the meat. After the first piece was cut onto the plates, all you could hear was pleasant moaning from satisfied palates. The beef, top sirloin and flank, were my personal favorites along with the lamb shanks coming in a close second. The staff were at the top of their game and never left us wanting for anything! Overall it was an exceptional evening and we will return! Highly recommend!!!

One of the best places to eat on the oceanfront! Plan to wait, but they text you when they are ready so you don't have to spend the time waiting in the foyer, although there is a nice gift shop to pass the time and pick up some nice goodies. Tonight the place was packed as it was their busiest night of the year on the Saturday of the Patriotic Festival, but even still the service was great and the place was buzzing! Not normally a pasta guy but gave their signature seafood pasta dish a try and enjoyed it immensely. But gotta say, I had an Orange Crush and wasn't won over. Probably the Rum runner at Big Sam's earlier in the day, ruined it! We'll be back, it's worth the trip from Richmond!

Was invited inside by a gelato sign on the outside. Was quite surprised when we walked in as this place is a fresh signature sandwich shop. It boasts a nice assortment of wine, cheese and all the accompaniments for a great party or gathering. The signage on the building and road really doesn't do it justice for a place where nobody knows your name and visitors are from all over the world! The gelato? It was okay, but we've had much better, would rather have had a high end ice cream!

Never had a bad dinner here! This time while sitting outside on the pier overlooking the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay as it opens into the Atlantic Ocean, we decided to share a variety of appetizer plates and had the Oysters Rockefeller (12), bacon wrapped shrimp, a Caesar salad and a side of sweet potato fries! This is probably the best meal we have had here. The place is incredibly relaxing, has a great beach vibe and doesn't hurry you through a meal! Love it and will be back whenever we are in the area!

I'm gonna go for four stars for now because all we had was a delicious lump crab cake and probably the best rum runner ever while sitting on the outside patio/deck catching a snack and an unexpected rum buzz! We will be back for a full experience!

Stopped in to have a look around and do some bike riding and man, did we ride! Checked in at the station and paid our resident fee of $7, then headed down the road to the trail center. This welcome and trail information center has nice restrooms and a very informative, yet small area for explaining a bit about the park and what you are about to experience. Once we got our bearings, we headed down the shared bike trail toward the beach. A mostly flat ride and a bit muddy after all the rain, but fun. The flora and fauna reminded me more of something you would see deeper into North Carolina or even South Carolina. Spanish moss, wax myrtles and such, especially the Spanish moss as some of the groves of that were spectacular. The trail ended at a nice beach and boat landing and a stand that sold ice cream, great fuel for the ride back! It was about an 8 mile round trip and very enjoyable. We will be back to do some camping as we only drove through that area, but found it to be inviting!

What's not to like! This place boast a fresh seafood market, dockside restaurant and fishing center all in one. We arrived just checking the place out and found a great selection of fresh fish to include grouper, spade fish, flounder, Atlantic salmon, whole bluefish, black sea bass and many other varieties. We couldn't decide what we were going to take home so we spoke to the cashier and she told us that they cook whatever is in the case for the market price. Market price was $22, so we looked no further and took our seat, dock side on the restaurant's deck overlooking the Lynnhaven Inlet. Big, luscious shrimp for an appetizer and a spade fish filet, fries and slaw for dinner. All was very good and the atmosphere was incredible. I could spend a good bit of time here and will in the future!
