The beds are planted with fall crops galore which include collards, mustard greens, beets, turnips, spicy and sweet mesclun, peas and swiss chard! Looking forward to the harvests! #backyardvegetables

One of the first cicadas fell from the trees yesterday and the chickens were elated. Took one peck for a taste and the rest was eaten whole. Between the abundant crickets and cicadas, they probably won't even eat from their feeder for a bit! #backyardchickens

Ok, I admit it, I'm sucker for a good time! But the next time someone asks me to go to the beach for a week and live the high life, have two or three relaxing drinks a day, a great night of dancing and plenty of seafood to eat (like four or five nights out of seven), oh, and calves liver for breakfast...smack me and remind me of this bout with gout that I'm still fighting. Not saying that my decision will change but at least it'll make me think twice about it...

Can be a bit pricey, but it is authentic and clean. A trip back in time in this short park experience with a great variety of rides and amusements for all ages.

Take your time and savor the tastes and experience! The food and service were impeccable from the moment we arrived to the end of a great night. Starting with their signature cocktail, to an extremely clean and well stocked food bar filled with exotic dishes representing several diverse cultures and many flavors. Moving slowly through the choices and making sure that each item was given its' full attention, our party moved to the star of the show, the meat. After the first piece was cut onto the plates, all you could hear was pleasant moaning from satisfied palates. The beef, top sirloin and flank, were my personal favorites along with the lamb shanks coming in a close second. The staff were at the top of their game and never left us wanting for anything! Overall it was an exceptional evening and we will return! Highly recommend!!!

I'm gonna go for four stars for now because all we had was a delicious lump crab cake and probably the best rum runner ever while sitting on the outside patio/deck catching a snack and an unexpected rum buzz! We will be back for a full experience!

Not sure if it was just on off night or what, but this visit was a mess. No A/C, short handed staff and the employees pourng in sweat. Got food, but that was about it. Much different than in the past.

One of the best places to eat on the oceanfront! Plan to wait, but they text you when they are ready so you don't have to spend the time waiting in the foyer, although there is a nice gift shop to pass the time and pick up some nice goodies. Tonight the place was packed as it was their busiest night of the year on the Saturday of the Patriotic Festival, but even still the service was great and the place was buzzing! Not normally a pasta guy but gave their signature seafood pasta dish a try and enjoyed it immensely. But gotta say, I had an Orange Crush and wasn't won over. Probably the Rum runner at Big Sam's earlier in the day, ruined it! We'll be back, it's worth the trip from Richmond!

Was invited inside by a gelato sign on the outside. Was quite surprised when we walked in as this place is a fresh signature sandwich shop. It boasts a nice assortment of wine, cheese and all the accompaniments for a great party or gathering. The signage on the building and road really doesn't do it justice for a place where nobody knows your name and visitors are from all over the world! The gelato? It was okay, but we've had much better, would rather have had a high end ice cream!
