So messaging apps that promise high security are all the rage now? I had heard of Telegram (https://telegram.org/) before, but not Threema (https://threema.ch/en/).

"Security is a process, not a product." It is worth everyone's time learning a bit about that process. :-)
 
Lately several stories make it sound like Linux has real security problems. Wrong! What is true is that some Linux users and administrators have been... well let's just say less than bright.
Summary: Linux is as secure as ever. The real security hole lies with some of Linux's administrators and users.

A good reason to avoid buying a Kuerig machine... Unless you want your coffee maker to decided what kind of coffee you can and cannot drink.
