An excellent piece on how to evaluate, strengthen and - with a little luck - retain client relationships from +SpinSucks.
If you sense an imminent client breakup coming, engage and get it out on the table. Take the initiative to challenge and change the relationship.

Great summary from +DavidGJohnson about +Marcus Sheridan's presentation at #Inbound15.
Now that the fatigue has worn off & I've had time to process everything, some of the most important realizations from the event are bubbling to the top.

Yep. It's makes a lot of sense for many organizations who want personalized, senior-level counsel at exceptionally competitive rates. We at +ForgeCommunications are entering our seventh year in business, and thus far 2015 is proving to be our strongest year ever.

A compelling and vital essay to read and share widely, now more than ever. It is our responsibility to learn and teach so history will not repeat itself. 'The Return of Anti-Semitism'
Seventy years after the liberation of Auschwitz, violence and hatred against Jews is on the rise, especially in the Middle East and among Muslims in Europe

Jazz music is ALL about the drums. With these live Garageband jazz drum loops and fills you'll be able to create authentic jazz tracks that sound like you hired the local virtuosos to come and play on your tracks. These Apple loops are all edited and contain full meta data for quick indexing and auditioning …

Roger Friedensen is a time-tested reputation consultant with expertise in strategic communication, issues management & public relations.
Introduction

Hi, I'm Roger Friedensen. I began my consulting career in 1985 with Epley Associates, Inc., one of the Southeast’s leading public relations firms.Since then, I've managed a wide array of strategic communication programs for a broad range of regional, national and international clients across dozens of industries.

Before co-founding Forge Communications in late 2009, I served as senior vice president of client services at Epley Associates, Inc. and The Catevo Group. My specialties include future-based strategic planning, reputation design and management, crisis communications, issues management, writing, media relations and spokesperson training.

A past visiting instructor in the Department of Communication Studies at North Carolina State University, I am a frequent speaker at local and national conferences and forums. I hold master's and bachelor's degrees in speech communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and am a rabid Tar Heel fan during basketball season. Active in the community, I'm a steering committee member of and counsel to the Regional Transportation Alliance and have served on the boards of many other local and state organizations. An accredited member of PRSA, I served on the Executive Committee of the Counselors Academy and am past president of the Raleigh Public Relations Society.

A professional guitarist, I perform regularly around the Triangle and have released two CDs. In addition, I'm a father, husband, cook, gym rat and music geek. To listen to some of my original music, visit:  http://www.forgecommunications.com and find me on the Leadership page.

We love these folks! From the first time we took our rescue Golden Retriever to Jared and his team, we've received only the highest quality, caring and professional treatment. When our dog developed a potentially deadly condition, their careful diagnosis and care saved his life in no uncertain terms. But even for the more routine stuff - check-ups, baths and so on - we couldn't imagine a better veterinary hospital or professional staff. Clean, bright, convenient and superior care - seriously, what else could a pet owner (or pet, for that matter) ask for? It's my pleasure to recommend CareFirst at Falls Pointe!

I love this place, plain and simple. Not only do they have the freshest and most comprehensive selection of spices in town (yes, Whole Foods and Fresh Market, I'm talking about you), the spice combinations they offer for rubs, toppings and drinks (Mexican Cocoa - killer!) are hands-down the best I've had. Beyond that, though, you'll not find a more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. While Savory Spice Shop is a franchise, this is a locally owned and operated store - yet another reason to shop there - and the family that runs it is a gem. Do the spices cost more than your local grocery store? Of course the do. They should. They're better quality, and you're paying for the culinary expertise of the staff. But you buy only what you need by the ounce, so you end up not wasting spices and herbs that go stale before you can use them. The shop also offers a boatload of recipes using the spices in the store and on the website. And as gifts for friends and family, you just can't beat ingredients that make food taste better and life just a bit spicier (badda-bing). Do I sound like a co-owner of the shop? Yeah, probably. But my enthusiasm is genuine. I visited them when they first opened and have been a loyal customer since. Drop by when you're up this way. You'll be glad you did.
