OK, remember that little oops I had with the Brewers Best Cider kit (skipped a step or 3). I saved 2 bottles as it sat, the rest I re- primed with Dextrose. Picture 1 shows that re-priming did give the cider more fizz(which quickly went away in pic #2).
The 2 bottles I did not re prime had a very off nose, and not good flavor. The main part that was re primed has a better apple flavor, slightly on the sweet side due to the re prime I'm sure.
But, there is still an odd nose to the cider. Maybe this is "home brew smell?" Maybe it will go away after sitting in the bottle a while?
