Steve Ballmer was right all the time... Linux IS a cancer!. It's spreading.
Over the past year, Microsoft has seen customers use Linux in a third of its Azure virtual machines, up from 25 percent.

It's got to be a service without a smile...
If you want to get a sense of how Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sees the future of his company, there may be no better source than his remarks to the employees of LinkedIn this week.

A dying grandma tells her grandchild, "I want to leave you my farm. That includes the barn, livestock, the harvest, the tractor, and other equipment, the farmhouse and $24,548,750.45 in cash."

The grandchild, absolutely floored and about to become rich says, "Oh grandma, you are SO generous! I didn't even know you had a farm. Where is it?"

With her last breath, Grandma whispered, "Facebook..."

Inherited a HEAVY portable from Samsung: the S3600. Came without power supply, docs or disks. Looking for info on the web has been staring at references to a S3600 cell phone from Samsung but little to nothing on the portable - found one Pinterest post and an old Ebay auction for one... back in 2012.

Reaching out to the community, maybe someone has some insight o this computer. Thanks in advance folks!

Indeed, this is one of the first things I consider when evaluating which browser to use on my laptop... what's its battery footprint. Right.
Using a power efficient browser is one of the best ways to get more out of your PC or tablet – whether you’re checking email, shopping online, playing games, or watching movies. Today’s lapto…

Those DB-19s... an amazing story :-)
Oh man, this is good! You're looking at the first DB-19 connector to be made in the 21st century: post-1779-0-54317400-1462842644. This is a happy story about the power of global communication and manufacturing resources in today's world. If you've been reading this blog for any length of time, ...

My better half found me in the kitchen in the middle of the night, naked, with a pot on my head and a gun in my hand...

"What the hell are you doing?" she screamed, shocked at my appearance.

"Quiet woman! I'm hunting Decepticons" I whispered back harshly.

She put her hands on her hips - "You've been sleep walking again! There are no such thing as Decepticons!"

I blinked, realizing how stupid I looked.

"I guess you're right! Man I must look like and idiot!" I said.

She laughed.

I laughed.

The toaster laughed.

I shot the toaster.

All in all, a good night.

Yes, I am *that* Rogelio Perea...
Introduction
Born in the "Capital Of The World" city of Hidalgo del Parral Chihuahua México one July of 1967, I have steadily devolved throughout the years into the outspoken non-partisan atheist blunt honest person I am today.

Technology friendly I don't need a manual to figure out how stuff works, except humans - those are a number on themselves. I like almost any type of music short of Country, Hiphop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Salsa, Punk, Grunge and related. SciFi aficionado I will happily watch Star Trek & Star Wars re-runs on a dime.

Thanks for stopping by!

Worst pizza I had ever had was at LaGuardia Airport NYC. With that in mind I approached Reggio's with not much of a hope, I was in a crunch and the other food stands were not that appealing... went for the Pepperoni & Sausage deep dish personal pizza, what a nice surprise upon the first bite!. Have to say this is the best pizza at O'Hare - I'm sure there are other places in the city that may offer a better fare, but for my travel records, Reggio's is a must visit the next time around.

My kid and I were looking for a frozen yogurt outlet close to our place, found Yogurt City through Google Maps, no reviews - this is to correct that flaw: the place doesn't look like much from the outside but walking in you'll find a clean establishment with a wide assortment of yogurt flavors: coffee, chocolate, strawberry, coconut, banana, cheesecake, cookies and many more... and then the toppings - the variety is there. In a nutshell we loved it, will be returning customers.

Good place to go for pizza, calzones and rolls. The Italian sauce is top notch, one of the best I have tasted. Can eat in, there are a few tables in there, I prefer to phone in the order and pick up - quick and good service from the staff.

Small and cozy, never had a problem getting a table to do a quick band meeting after rehearsal while cooling off with a decent array of beers. The food is great too, service is courteous and fast. My band's pit stop of choice!
