What do you think is required to make Cap-and-Trade work? - - Naomi Klein Undervalues the Potential of the EU's Cap-and-Trade Plan to Curb CO2
Naomi Klein's "This Changes Everything" dismisses cap-and-trade as a climate policy tool despite historical evidence that the policy can reduce CO2 emissions. But for cap-and-trade to work, it needs the public to convince lawmakers to design it properly.

If you were a utility, which direction would you go? Maintaining Status Quo, Full on Services, Progress Penalties, or...?

Is Energy Efficiency Disrupting the Electric Utilities' Business Model? -
Decreased demand should dictate a contraction in the generation sector, but the situation is made more complex by seasonal fluctuations and changing demographics. Warmer summers and a population shift to states in the south and west run counter to the general trend with increasing peak seasonal load.

Imagine such an assesment being done for an autonomous taxi service, checking if the desired travel distance of a client can be met by an aged 'taxi' and possibly offer a discount (and still be able to utilize an old battery for profit). Who knows...

Cool to see NVIDIA make this play, but also found this gem of a quote:

"We actually had an engineer driving when an empty potatochip bag blew in front and the car slammed on the brakes.”

"One-size-fits-all system of electricity pricing is not ideal" - Who Could Benefit Most from Fair Electricity Pricing?
Urban dwellers, for whom mass transit is a central part of daily life and owning your own rooftop is less common, may view electric cars, rooftop solar, battery storage, and on-site energy generation as appealing, but also abstractions more suitable for upstate homeowners than those living in the city.

Electric Vehicle Solutions for You!
Introduction

Technology improves our life's quality. I'm blessed with a technical background and an entrepreneurial spirit. I like how technology reduces our burden on others and the environment, while also making us more self sufficient.

It was Tesla who showed us the new Electric Car; mobility without pollution. It was Google who showed us the Autonomous Car; mobility for everyone. And there is the Shared Car; having car benefits without the ownership hassle. These developments and my background make me enjoy shaping our future during the Mobility Transition and give people directions.

All combined they will form our future mobility. Our future cars will be electric, autonomous and shared. They will not pollute, will be driven by computers and lack ownership hassle. The overall mobility experience will be better; no burden on others or the environment and a stress free mobility experience.

With my technical background and entrepreneurial spirit I can help people in the Mobility Transition and identify new business opportunities. My ability to explain complex technical matters in plain language help illustrate this vision.

I help people see this future and learn of their benefits, I provide insights, examples and solutions that will spur the mobility transition. It is not a question of 'if', but rather a question of 'when'. When will you be ready?

Get in touch to see how I can help you.
