Not that really affects me as initialise my repo via bash but some of my team member (that are allergic to console/terminal) will suffer.
I have created a gist to share parts of my code and you can find it here https://gist.github.com/rodrigoelp/7409042
For whatever reason I need to create a service that is consuming an api that takes ages to return and the call needs to be async.
There is another problem... the api method needs to be called on the main thread (I know, I know... there is not much point on creating a task to deal with something that will be call on the main thread... but the calle of my service may be executing on a different thread than the main thread) so my question is...
How do I resolve the deadlock I am introducing if the calle is invoking the method on the main thread?
Thanks in advance.
I have been checking every frigging hour or two the sites looking for any news related to this event and it sucks this vagueness of when is going to happen.
This is one of those cases where someone talented tries to bring knowledge to people but ends up sharing a misunderstood concept of how our part of the multiverse works.
At the moment every time that I try to execute my instance of Android it kills my computer and I need to force shutdown and power up again. I haven't tried with any other distribution of Android, so I don't know if there is incompatibilities between Mavericks and the Intel package or my mac is dying =S
