I have done many shows trying to convey my story about being rejected as a 540 pound teenager to one day get people to look beyond "the gift" box and go for the "gift". Laurie Gerber (SuperStar), Life Coach helping people be there biggest dreams, even when dreams are depressing, HIT play and leave a comment be honest, Iove it! WARNING lots of girly crying (Laurie) ;)

Story
Tagline
Award-winning Radio Producer and Television Personality
Introduction

Rocky was living as a morbidly obese teenager long before it became a topic on the nightly news, and his 2003 radio documentary “My Struggle with Obesity,” was one of the first substantive media stories about this growing trend. At fifteen he produced a radio story that captured on tape his desperation to fit in, his futile attempts to control his eating, and the relentless teasing by his skinny twin sister, family and friends. The audience and media response to his personal account of living as a fat teenager put Rocky at the center of the public discussion about the national childhood obesity epidemic.

Bragging rights
At 15 I produced a personal radio documentary titled "My Struggle with Obesity" for NPR. The public response after that has changed my life completely. Now 400 pounds lighter I am finally ready to live.
