Suggestions: have a way to undo spent points on a star, until the next tick or turn... damn misclicks :(

Be more careful, especially with Science.

Whats happens when a carrier on a star is supposed to leave that star at the exact same moment when another enemy carrier gets there? Which takes place first, the movement or the combat?

No, the fact that my opponent and I unknowingly set out to capture the same stars (which were initially controlled by yet another player).
It might happen often, but it's the first time I see it, and I was amused by it :)

Could I have a clarification about the way General Research works?
The way I understand it now is:

-each hour, you get X points in the tech you are researching, where X is your total science.
-in addition to that, you get Y points to a random tech, where Y is your General Research level.

So, researching Gen Res doesn't directly increase the progress of any other tech, but it makes future "Y" bonuses higher (so you don't see the effects of this until you've actually gained a level in Gen Res.) Is that right?

maybe "Every hour, in addition to the points you get from researching your chosen tech, General Research gives you X*4 points on a random tech (where X is the General Research level)."

(to be honest, renaming "General Research" to something that doesn't contain the word research would make it easier - "Expertise" maybe?)

Suggestion: the "garrison" setting on a star should be checked each tick, not just when a carrier arrives - ie if I have a carrier orbiting a star that has its garrison set to 0, all new ships produced by that star should automatically be transferred to that carrier.

Well, I guess this could still work, but yeah it would need to handle many different conditions.

Feature suggestion:
Add 'custom events' that would allow you to get notified when certain things happen. For instance, when a star has been captured, or when a carrier has started moving or has reached a destination.

In the game I'm playing right now, I have a carrier with 75 ships on one star, and an opponent has 375 ships looming on a star in the immediate vicinity. I'd like to be able to have the game send me an email whenever those 375 enemy ships start moving, so I can move my own fleet to a safer position, without having to check the game every hour.

For some reason, when I use my mouse wheel the game always zooms out, regardless of whether I scroll up or down. To zoom back in I have to either press Z or open the menu and click the + button.

The issue with my mouse is probably related to the Logitech drivers (there are weird scrolling behaviours in other apps) but would it be possible to have a keyboard shortcut to zoom please?

Shauna Myers originally shared:

Why was MegaUpload really shut down?

In December of 2011, just weeks before the takedown, Digital Music News reported on something new that the creators of #Megaupload were about to unroll. Something that would rock the music industry to its core. (http://goo.gl/A7wUZ)

I present to you... MegaBox. MegaBox was going to be an alternative music store that was entirely cloud-based and offered artists a better money-making opportunity than they would get with any record label.

"UMG knows that we are going to compete with them via our own music venture called Megabox.com, a site that will soon allow artists to sell their creations directly to consumers while allowing artists to keep 90 percent of earnings," MegaUpload founder Kim 'Dotcom' Schmitz told Torrentfreak

Not only did they plan on allowing artists to keep 90% of their earnings on songs that they sold, they wanted to pay them for songs they let users download for free.

"We have a solution called the Megakey that will allow artists to earn income from users who download music for free," Dotcom outlined. "Yes that's right, we will pay artists even for free downloads. The Megakey business model has been tested with over a million users and it works."
