Google does a public service in a major way by promising free internet and Google fiber to public housing and schools.
VentureBeat, an anonymous reader notes, reports that Google has announced it will expand on an earlier move to provide free internet service to poor Austin residents. Net Neutrality is just about to happen and it includes wireless. No more throttling without consequences. But, pricing is an open game and those with only one choice for Internet need to be aware of that. This is a win for Internet activists, which changed the mind of FCC chairman Tom Wheeler.

I have also thought about this problem. I wonder if we will have to put our administrator passwords in our wills. What a shame it would be if your life's work stored on your computer was deleted or thrown away when you pass away. I already checked and the web address memoriam.com is already parked.

360 Mobile Security voted Best Free Security App. This was linked to at the end ofvBrian Krebs new excellent report on an Android Vulnerability involving banking! I downloaded it and ran a quick scan. It found 5 serious problems on my Nexus 7, related to apps mostly and fixed them quickly. I highly recommend 360 Mobile Security for Android. It's FREE!
