Volca Keys  -

I used my Volca FM for its glass chime sound and sequenced it from ther Cirklon. I also put the FM through the H9 with a shimmer effect and I liked the resulting sound it made. A short sequence here on youtube. The main bass track is a Monotribe and I adjust the filter through while playing the sequences recorded live.

Edit: I used a minilogue for the bass not a monotribe.

Volca Keys  -

I feel like I am improving my ability to get the various Volca's sounding good together. Also just managed to spend time improving the speed of recording sequences on the minilogue which is driving the tempo synch of my set of volcas. I was wondering if anyone thinks I should add a Volca bass to the set when I already have the minilogue and a monotribe on standby?

This is yet another great way to play and display the Volcas without a mess / rough workflow. I have seen no less than 20 extremely good solutions to mounting the Volcas in a "playable" fashion. I have seen commercial endeavors to try to make a solution for Volca organization and workflow- only to fail. I think there should be somewhere on the net just for Volca storage ideads, photos, videos and, hopefully- nuild plans, and a way to share that isn't just mixed in with the technical aspects of the Volca line. Just my 2 cents (as a person looking to mount them / keep them tiered somewhow.

I have the wooden cheek ends added to my Cirklon. They really finish the unit off neatly and are a smart addition.

Painting Tips  -

I did a poorly organised Live video on Sunday whilst I painted. I am working on improving my painting workflow to improve future live events. The session was recorded and is now up on Youtube here.

The staff are always friendly in this village Deli. I work locally and visit a couple of times a week for freshly made sandwiches. I would not hesitate to recommend the food which is high quality and tasty. In addition to fresh sandwiches, rolls and baked goods they also have an extensive range of deli-type produce which I have occasionally bought.

I found the APH staff were very friendly and I could not fault the service. It was a smooth start to our holiday and made the experience of parking easy for my family. The transfer to the airport was quick for both the outbound and return journey and I am a regular customer who will be back again - there were some great discounts for repeat customers.

Just had an amazing Lasagna at Iydea in Brighton. A little crowded and tricky to find a seat but fast service ad yummy food. *Reduced my rating to good because today I tried a smoothie and they don't peel the apples put into the mix. I ended up with peel stuck in my throat and a few hours of discomfort trying to cough it out. PEEL your apples please!

Any amazing short walk around the Warnham nature reserve. Lots to see with some fun walks over the marsh-like areas where they have raised wooden walkways. The kids love it and there are some nice birds to see for those into bird watching. They also have a great little tea shop with some homemade pasties.
