“O, do not pray for easy lives.
Pray to be stronger men!
Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers.
Pray for powers equal to your tasks!
Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle.
But you shall be a miracle.
Every day you shall wonder at yourself, at the richness of life which has come to you by the grace of God.”
— Phillips Brooks

Dear Monday,
While many hate on you, I love you and I think you're really superb. You represent a new week with new beginnings, new opportunities, and new insights. To reflect Philippians 2:14-15.

‘In the morning when you awake and behold the light, consider that you behold a fresh manifestation of the lovely glory of God.’
– Jonathan Edwards

As tonight's thunderstorm passes over Orlando, I recalled reading about the theologian Jonathan Edwards' thoughts on thunder and lightning, something which a friend already sees and I'm beginning to as well.

“And scarce any thing, among all the works of nature, was so sweet to me as thunder and lightning; formerly, nothing had been so terrible to me. Before, I used to be uncommonly terrified with thunder, and to be struck with terror when I saw a thunder storm rising; but now, on the contrary, it rejoiced me. I felt God, so to speak, at the first appearance of a thunder storm; and used to take the opportunity, at such times, to fix myself in order to view the clouds, and see the lightnings play, and hear the majestic and awful voice of God’s thunder, which oftentimes was exceedingly entertaining, leading me to sweet contemplations of my great and glorious God. While thus engaged, it always seemed natural to me to sing, or chant for my meditations; or, to speak my thoughts in soliloquies with a singing voice.” (Works of Jonathan Edwards)

Can't recommend Hash House a Go Go based on poor service and extremely long wait times. Several locals waited over an 1.5 hr and never got seated. (Food rated poor due not having the chance to eat, will change when I'm able to)

Service is poor, takes forever to deliver food and servers are scarce. They're trying to become a part time club which doesn't mesh with what's established.
