While lots of people might say Roberta's is over-hyped or too hipster, I disagree. The pizza stands up to the price and their name. You'll be hard-pressed to find another slice that is as creative or as delicious as theirs is. It's cash only, and they don't do slices, just full pizzas, although there are smaller pies. Eat it with a friend because half the fun is enjoying the deliciousness with someone else that appreciates it. Pro tip: it's a lot faster to pick up and go than to eat in.

One of my favorite restaurants in New York. They have amazing pizza and vegetable sides/appetizers. The wait is going to be bad (easily two hours on the weekend), so expect that and just show up early. They have a great bar in their backyard where you can get drinks and snacks while you wait.

Good food, good service and a great experience in a casual dining atmosphere located in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. It is hip and their pizza is truly one of the best in the city. Their bread and butter as well as their mussels were pretty good as well. Given the size of the portions I thought it was overpriced however. Despite it being overpriced I would certainly go back.

This is my favorite pizza place in New York. It's well worth the trip out to Bushwick. The wait can be long so be prepared to grab a drink at the bar. There are so many delicious pizzas to choose from and the other menu items are definitely worth a try. I usually get a pizza to go since they are so good. The vibe is very casual.

Yeah, yeah, it's hip, it's out there, but really, the reputation is totally deserved. The pizzas are some of the best anywhere. Also, you may wonder at the butter on the menu as an appetizer - don't wonder - get it! It's homemade, and just...heavenly. This place also has a totally different vibe than a typical New York joint - reminds me more of someplace you'd find in Austin. They even have a radio booth in the restaurant!

I would order out from here all the time if these smug hipsters would ever answer their phone. If you want some truly delicious pizza and don't mind paying twice as much as you would anywhere else, and waiting three times as long, you'll LOVE it.
