Controlling two LEDs individually from one microcontroller pin
Controlling two LEDs individually from one microcontroller pin
Someone reminded me about this technique when they needed more LEDs than they had available pins for a project they were working on.

Prop Shield Visualizer and Plotting Tool

Prop Shield is a Teensy Add on board that contains 10 DOF Mition sensing, a 2 watt Audio driver and APA102 Drivers.
  http://www.pjrc.com/store/prop_shield.html
I cobbled together a visualizer that adds the ability to log data from the Prop Shield to a log file.
It's built off of the OrientationVisualizer Processing sketch, and adds a keyboard command "L" to toggle logging to a data file on the PC.
The logged data is appended to the file, so the Kst plotting tool can update the plots in realtime.

Here's a link to GitHub repository: https://github.com/Wozzy-T-3/Teensy-...eld-Visualizer

It requires Paul Stoffregen's  NXPMotionSense Library:  https://github.com/PaulStoffregen/NXPMotionSense

Keyboard Menu (When focus is Processing graphics output window)
press H to show/hide Help
press F to show/hide Fps
press U to show/hide orientation Update rate
press N to show/hide yaw, pitch and roll Numbers
press L to open to start/stop data Logging
press Z or X to adjust yaw to match view angle

This seems fitting given the current events:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

These words adorn the plaque at the base of the Statue of Liberty
From the sonnet "New Colossus" by Emma Lazarus

We need to remember the foundations of this great nation.

ARDUINO PROTOTYPE # 0
I stumbled across this in the Arduino Forums; from a 2008 post by Massimo Banzi.

"For the ones who are into history , this is arduino prototype 0"

Paul Stoffregen has added large high resolution fonts to the ILI9341_t3 library for Teensy 3.x.
Here's a quick video of a demo I made running on a Teensy 3.1. The ILI9341_t3 library is optimized for speed using SPI on the Teensy 3. Paul has incorporated the Fonts Library into Teensyduino 1.25_b2 which was just released.

It's not very clear in the video, but the line with the numbers is cycling through 63 color variations from violet to white. For more information here's a link to the description in PJRC forums: https://forum.pjrc.com/threads/26305-Highly-optimized-ILI9341-(320x240-TFT-color-display)-library?p=79853&viewfull=1#post79853

My first attempt at  designing custom circuit boards.
They were designed using CadSoft Eagle PCB (free) http://www.cadsoftusa.com/

Osh Park is fabricating them
 https://oshpark.com/

1) ESP8266-13 Breakout
2) ESP8266-13 Breadboard Adapter
3) BMP280 Breakout

If they work, I'll make them public on Osh Park.
I already know that I mislabeled some pins on the BMP280 board
