I always worry when major news tries to tackle the intricacies of the tech world. Click through to read an article that was outdated at least a month before it was written. Time to play catch up, guys. #android vs #ios. Your thoughts?

While I'll admit that the single most important thing when choosing mobile tech, is its usability and relevance to you as the user. And while Apple gained an early foothold as an innovator and originator of ideas and implementation, they've been playing 'follow the leader' for a while now.

Android has made the push for new user experiences while embracing new technologies and ideas. Apple chooses to maintain their tried and true approach to the mobile world while adding incremental changes to its aging UI. With the entire ecosystem under their watchful eye and control, I personally would expect a greater level of advancement.

Not only has Android found a way to keep their services and products relevant, their connection to the development community can't be denied. If there's a feature available on another Android phone or within a future version of Android, you can believe that a developer out there is working to port it. And don't let me hear you say that the comparison of Android vs iOS should be based on the stock experience. The openness and development possible with Android is, in my opinion, a huge part of the stock experience.

That being said, if you're content with what you're given by Apple, then iOS is your bag. But, if the possibility for continued and constant improvement of all aspects of the mobile experience, then embrace Android for what it is; an opportunity for anyone to create the more perfect smartphone for the way that they use it.
Enough talk. We compared how Android and the iPhone perform 15 basic tasks. See for yourself how they rank.

Very cool.

It kinda feels like the spacesuit of the future as designed by Hollywood of the 60s. Still futuristic, but the retro future.
The follow-up to NASA's rather Toy Story-esque Z-1 spacesuit was decided this week, thanks to an online poll. Three options were up for the task of being

Coffee beans. Home roasted. I've been doing it for a couple weeks, and I'm loving everything about it. But I'm always looking to improve the product and flavor.

Does anyone do this?

Suggestions on how to do it? Beans to use? Where to buy green beans?

Once I perfect the roast, I'll move onto brewing a nice coffee stout. #homebrew

Thanks!
