I recently had a thought that it would be cool to play through all of the historical games I have in chronological order. I am sure that I am not the first one to think of it, but I am going to try it. The question is, do I include games with historical themes or purely simulators.

We had already predetermined that we would be playing some COIN games by GMT. Charlie has recently acquired a few through some trades and Mark also brought some for us to look at. The gorgeous Liberty or Death was a no brainer and Connor was interested in trying out A Distant Plain. Have a look: ...

Freya Help  -

I am running two monitors and I have installed Google Chrome. On one monitor (the un-starred one) I have no problem clicking on any element of the browser; extension buttons websites etc; everything works. However, on the "main" monitor, sometimes (most of the time) I have trouble clicking on certain elements, e.g., the Ghostery ext button to whitelist a site, or even on an actual page, like the notification button for Trello. Has anyone seen this, if so, have you found a solution?

It may not be your musical cup of tea, but Motorhead really nailed it in their song, 1916.

16 years old when I went to the war
To fight for a land fit for heroes
God on my side, and a gun in my hand
Chasing my days down to zero
And I marched and I fought and I bled
And I died & I never did get any older
But I knew at the time, That a year in the line
Was a long enough life for a soldier

[Verse 2]
We all volunteered
And we wrote down our names
And we added two years to our ages
Eager for life and ahead of the game
Ready for history's pages
And we brawled and we fought
And we whored 'til we stood
Ten thousand shoulder to shoulder
A thirst for the Hun
We were food for the gun
And that's what you are when you're soldiers

[Verse 3]
I heard my friend cry
And he sank to his knees, coughing blood
As he screamed for his mother
And I fell by his side
And that's how he died
Clinging like kids to each other
And I lay in the mud
And the guts and the blood
And I wept as his body grew colder
And I called for my mother
And she never came
Though it wasn't my fault
And I wasn't to blame
The day not half over
And ten thousand slain, and now
There's nobody remembers our names
And that's how it is for a soldier

"It is, in a way, an odd thing to honor those who died in defense of our country, in defense of us, in wars far away. The imagination plays a trick. We see these soldiers in our mind as old and wise. We see them as something like the Founding Fathers, grave and gray haired. But most of them were boys when they died, and they gave up two lives - the one they were living and the one they would have lived. When they died, they gave up their chance to be husbands and fathers and grandfathers. They gave up their chance to everything for our country, for us. And all we can do is remember." - President Ronald Reagan
RIP Captain Tom Driscoll, USMC and Lieutenant John Snyder, USN, both Villanova '87 classmates.

Story
Tagline
I am a sinner, saved by Grace. Soli Deo gloria.
Introduction
I am an avid gamer. (Pen and paper, cardboard and plastic.) I love sci-fi, fantasy and great storytelling.

I have a great love of music. Any kind that stirs my soul. And coffee. I really love listening to great music while drinking coffee. Even more than that, I love reading the Bible with my wife, while listening to great music, drinking great coffee.

I also have a passion for Jesus and His church. I am an Online Minister, Distributed Elder and Server Manager for Northland, A Church Distributed. My wife and I also host a distributed church called Abel House. I feel His church is best represented by many expressions, including large corporate gatherings and smaller, more intimate ones.
