The PSAD Puppet Module has been updated. The major addition includes some better handling of the PSAD service checks, which should result in a faster check of the PSAD service and remove some potential warnings on versions of Ubuntu. Additionally some…

A Walkthrough of PSR-6 (zomg caching)

There’s been a lot of discussion about PSR-6, the php-fig caching interfaces, so I thought it was time to step in and describe what this system is all about. Be prepared to read far more about caching interfaces than you probably thought possible. Why is…

New Module for Managing PSAD using Puppet

I’m a firm believer in hosting my own email and other services, and after running some updates to deal with Shellshock I realized it was time to replace my provisioning scripts and bring my personal systems under proper configuration management. It was…

Lots of glitches in Seymour, Indiana. When we flip portals the links and fields don't go away :-(

Is this another affect of Devra's virus?
Seriously, that is so weird. This is the second post I've spotted, the other showed it up on the intel map.

JShrink reaches 100k downloads on Packagist!

Five years ago JShrink was released to let PHP apps minify their javascript assets natively. Since then the PHP world has matured considerably, especially when it comes to package delivery. The introduction of composer, and it’s website counter part…

Well, looks like its impossible to play ingress today. Links will not disappear for any portal I knock down, nor do the fields. I have an area that should be empty and I can't link or field in it because of a blue field that's cornered by neutral portals. Come on +Ingress, please fix this awful bug.

I just got another portal rejection in- it was a "duplicate". However, FIVE MONTHS AGO when I submitted the portal it didn't exist at all.

It's extremely frustrating trying to submit portals when you guys are backed up by five months and aren't counting portals if someone else beats me to it during that period. I haven't submitted a portal in four+ months now because of how insane this is.

When you accept a portal you should give everyone credit who submitted it. This is only fair because of how bad you guys are stumbling over portal admissions. It would be one thing if you actually were dealing with this in two week periods, but months? As it stands now there's no point in me submitting portals because the fact that a portal doesn't exist probably means you guys failed to accept it in a timely manner, not that it's never been submitted.

It's stuff like this that takes the fun out of this game and replaces it with frustration.

I've submitted dozens of portals and have a 0% approval rating because of things like this. Frustrating does not begin to describe it.
