Great post by Robert Herjavec on avoiding burnout for entrepreneurs.
Instead of saying you "have to...", say you "get to..." when looking at your tasks.
Being busy is a common side effect of success, and that’s nothing to complain about, says Robert Herjavec. He doesn’t have much sympathy for whiners. Instead of dwelling on what’s wrong, the optimistic Herjavec Groupfounder and CEO says people should focus on what’s right, especially entrepreneurs like him who’ve made something out of nothing and have the packed schedules (and bank accounts) to prove it. “We’re overloaded, we have a lot going o...

Windows 10 becomes an automatic download

My favorite quote from the article is:
"We are committed to making it easy for our Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 customers to upgrade to Windows 10,”

He really could have just summed it up with 3 words: "Resistance is futile."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/windows-10-becomes-automatic-download-even-don-t-115058914.html
Microsoft will start forcing Windows 10 updates on machines that are eligible for the free upgrade as soon as this week. And you won’t be able to do much to stop it. Windows 10 is now a recommended update, which means it’ll download itself on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PCs and attempt to install. DON’T MISS: The best new movies and TV shows that were just added to Netflix "As we shared in late October on the Windows Blog, we are committed to makin...

YouTube donation cards. Another great offering from +Google for Nonprofits

Donation cards on YouTube can empower your U.S. nonprofit to raise money, allowing viewers to donate to your cause directly from your videos. Even better -- Google covers the processing fees, so your organization will receive 100% of the money donated. Learn more about donation cards on YouTube here: http://googlefornonprofits.blogspot.com/2016/01/introducing-new-donation-tool-on.html

One of the questions that I hear often over in the Google Ad Grants Help forum within the AdWords Community is: “Why do I have to enter billing information to activate my Ad Grants account if it is free?” The short answer is, you do not, even though the…

May we never forget the sacrifices of this day...
On 6 June 1944, the biggest combined naval, military and air operation ever seen took place. Code-named 'Overlord', the D-Day landings on the coast of Normandy marked the start of a campaign which led to eventual Allied victory in Europe in May 1945.

Here is one about to go hugely viral for you - A young woman who was taking a video selfie while snowboarding had a bear chasing her the whole time and she didn't realize it to the very end.

Funny thing is my first reaction was that it was CG'd or the bear was added as a special affect. Then I saw how the bear gradually disappeared in the background as the girl was gaining speed. So in my opinion, it could be real. I'm curious as to what a bear is doing running around in the winter time when most of them are hibernating....

Some great advice on reducing credit card fees and interest by one of my favorite peeps +Dayna Steele but the best is really her tip within the tip:

"Get your act together for future success."

If you want to reduce or eliminate a credit card late fee as well as cut your interest rate, just ask. It is that simple. Several news sources reporting on th

This happened a few months ago but it was still quite an honor to be nominated as "Mentor of the Year" in the Google Partners Community.

I lost to good friend and fellow Ambassador +Shanee Kirk who truly deserved the award with all of the great work she does in the community to mentor up and coming agencies in their quest to become certified Google Partners.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, (or any time really) this is truly one of my favorite places to eat. High quality food, freshly prepared and at a great price – what more could you ask for? Oh, and the service is great! The owners are fantastic people and the entire staff is extremely friendly. A couple of my favorite things to get there: The steak and eggs – without a doubt, one of the best bargains you will find. The bloody marys - go with the tall double but be careful they will sneak up on. The turkey wrap – my wife's personal favorite. The prime rib – one of the best you'll find anywhere. In pretty much anything else on the menu you will certainly not be disappointed. Oh, and a special mention for the fried gizzards, something that you simply cannot find in most restaurants. If you go on the weekends, they even have live music in the evenings.

Louis with Mt SI Electric has been doing electrical work for us in a house in Fall City, WA that we recently purchased and I can not say enough good things about him and his company. The house was a foreclosure property and had several electrical issues that Louis has diligently addressed and has brought up to code. The house is also having a room addition and he has been wonderful on the installation of the new wiring and lighting for that room. He is also doing the wiring for a new furnace and AC unit as well as several other electrical jobs that need to be taken care of to ensure the comfort and safety of our new home. Through it all, he has been very informative about the process, has provided great recommendations and has done excellent work. All at a fair and reasonable price. Also, due to his extensive experience, he is also pretty fast at the job he does - which makes his hourly rate all that much more attractive. The next project coming up is to add a transfer switch for the generator and I am confident that Louis will be doing as superb job with that as he has with all the other projects.

Best burgers on the east side. Great gluten free offerings, plus grass fed beef and THE place to eat if you are going primal/paleo.

I can not say enough about Augie and his team at Reflection of Perfection. Excellent service all the way around and fantastic follow up support. We had a major pigeon problem that they handled in a very professional and humane way. They removed the moss from the roof and they cleaned the gutters. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them. Count me as a raving fan of Reflection of Perfection. Local business that just did an outstanding job and really stood behind their work.

Fantastic service and fantastic work! I had them add perforated vinyl to the back glass of my truck to advertise my business and it looks absolutely fantastic! Inside and out! The service and work it was truly exceptional and I will certainly be using them for all of my signage needs in the future. Highly recommended!

Best pizza and wings in the greater Seattle area. If you are making a day trip to the falls stop by Uncle Si's for lunch. It is worth the trip itself.
