So... what are your thoughts on the new Google logo?

Myself... I'm not sold on it. I like where they are going with the big multicolored "G" and also the accompanying icons but I think the "Google" logo (spelled out) misses the mark. To me, it has a very Sesame Street feel to it and looks a bit elementary and targeted to kids. Perhaps that is the new abc.xyz branding but as a parent to a young child I feel like I have seen this type on way too many packages on the shelves at Toys-R-Us. Having it introduced to us via a chalk drawing doodle likely doesn't help either.

Looks like the market might be in agreement. The stock took a dip today as well. Down 20.46

For this 4th of July take a moment to learn about the sacrifices of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Great men, who stood up and risked all they had for liberty.

So YouTube Gaming has a Twitter profile but not a G+ profile?

I wonder what that implies for the future of G+?

Another great Google service that too few knew about and is now shutting down.

H/T to +David King for sharing the news.
David King originally shared to Technology:

Google Moderator to shut down on June 30, 2015

If you are still heavily using Google Moderator, it's time to export your Moderator series data using Google Takeout as the service is shutting down.

Fantastic service and fantastic work! I had them add perforated vinyl to the back glass of my truck to advertise my business and it looks absolutely fantastic! Inside and out! The service and work it was truly exceptional and I will certainly be using them for all of my signage needs in the future. Highly recommended!

Best burgers on the east side. Great gluten free offerings, plus grass fed beef and THE place to eat if you are going primal/paleo.

I can not say enough about Augie and his team at Reflection of Perfection. Excellent service all the way around and fantastic follow up support. We had a major pigeon problem that they handled in a very professional and humane way. They removed the moss from the roof and they cleaned the gutters. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them. Count me as a raving fan of Reflection of Perfection. Local business that just did an outstanding job and really stood behind their work.

Best pizza and wings in the greater Seattle area. If you are making a day trip to the falls stop by Uncle Si's for lunch. It is worth the trip itself.

I have eaten here three times: once under the old ownership for lunch and now twice under the new ownership for breakfast. Suffice to say, I certainly have plans to eat here much more often. I simply love this place. The atmosphere is great (love the hand-written movie quotes all over the walls) and the food is simply fantastic. The new owner, Rose, is definity someone who has a passion for cooking. Spicoli's is still a great place for a great sub or sandwhich but this is SOOOOOO much more than a sandwhich shop now. As I mentioned above, I have had breakfast here on more than one occassion and everytime it was as if my mom had cooked it. It is without a doubt the most home-made tasting breakfast I have ever had outside of my home. PERIOD. And the aroma of the fresh honey-wheat bread baking in the oven when I walked in this morning was simply divine. Suffice to say, with the expanded menu and the daily specials there is always something new to try and my family and I will be eating here much more often. This is not fast food. This food is made fresh with love and care. It takes a little longer but man is it worth it. If you are looking for a good home-cooked quality meal, this is the place.
