I find it harder and harder to read these sorts of articles. More and more I see them as a waste of time and resources.

Time wasted to research and write it, time wasted reading it and resources wasted hosting it. Then again the resources are not fully wasted as it generates clicks and ad revenue for the site.

Let's just wait until there is something real to write/read about. All these sorts of articles do is inflate expectations and ultimately disappoint users when half of what has been put out there does not make it to final builds.

This happens time and time again. Is no one else getting tired of it.

I missed this article yesterday. If you did as well, I suggest you read it.

Another great take by +JR Raphael.
Are Android and Chrome OS coming together for real this time? Some thoughts and a theory on how a string of saucy new rumors could play out.

Its been a while since we had a murder in Lisburn.
A 44-year-old man is arrested after a man's body is found in a car in Lisburn, police say.

Ghost In The Shell, live action, teaser trailers. Really what was the point of these?

So far there is nothing on show that could make anyone want to watch this. You have one job to do - NOT FUCK UP - Do it right will you.

+Robert T. Best I hate hijacking your post and I apologise beforehand.

It appears to me, you roam way further than me on G+. Could you be bothered to take a look at this and maybe do your own research on the matter?

So, in summary, if the FIA approves the sale of F1 it will make a $43.5 million profit and this has fuelled the suggestion that it is a conflict of interest.
Liberty Media’s $4.4 billion takeover of Formula One auto racing could be facing a roadblock as a senior politician has written to the head of Europe’s anti-trust authority calling for an investigation over an alleged conflict of interest. It presents a risk not just to Liberty but also to managers who [...]

Some people say we need more passion in politics, unfortunately passion makes for bad decisions and we're suffering from being ruled by ideologies rather than evidence even on this side of the water. I'd rather the people in charge were boring but sensible however they don't get the soap opera votes and there's loads of those on tap.

Smart spam flooding G+?

For the past few weeks I have been seeing a specific type of posts on my stream, through "trending", "what's hot", or whatever it is called these days.

They appear to be from different random profiles, they all use the exact same long text in the post and an irrelevant image.

So far, I have stumbled across two different types of messages. The first one starts with "Simply...Peace...Love" and then describes a photo (which is completely irrelevant) about Victoria Falls.

The second one, has a long paragraph about obessity in cats, acompanied by a random image.

The thing is, that these posts seems to be geting hundreds of plusses. That, in combination with the long text and the attached image, is probably the reason they get past the spam filters of the network.

I think that even reporting them as spam may not work, because individually they may seem like random stuff, not spam. But when you see them as a group it is clear that this is automated spam.

I took some screnshots, showing examples of the issue.

The recent surge in spam posts and comments, along with the steady flow of bot profiles adding users to their circles, has led popular users of the network, such as +Brian Koberlein to throw in the towel, and disable completely comments in their posts.

On top of that, visiting even the most popular communities of G+ is depressing, to say the least. Groups counting hundreds of thousands of users have the majority of the posts counting single digit +1's, and almost zero comments.

I didn't think I would ever say that....but is this place actually becoming a ghost town!!!???

Has your experience in G+ deteriorated as well? What is your opinion?

+Ian Rawlings same here. Over a thousand "followers", but I suspect the real people are single digit.

Great for all my wargaming needs. The first time you place an order online may be a bit strange, but once you know how they work your mind will be at ease. Good prices, great deals. Highly recommended.

Great models, such a shame GW has stopped giving the stores the support they need to run properly.
