A sudden surge in file 'Downloads' by a user can often be a point of security concern. GAT+ has added a new alarm to bring such actions to the Admins attention.

General Audit Tool are planning to develop a FREE standalone tool for G Suite Admins.
This tool will be available in the G Suite marketplace for all Admins, absolutely free.
We would love to hear your feedback on a particular pain point that you experience as a G Suite Admin that you feel we could address with this simple tool.
Examples might include:

‘I would like to see the Drive tree for the Domain’

‘I need to quickly see the Email Stats for all users for the last week’

‘I want to reset the password of a user or a group of users’

You have until Tuesday 28th of February to let us know all your ideas.

The last tool we developed for free is a full audit tool for Chrome. It syncs across your Chrome sessions, gives detailed usage reports and lets you see which other tools have access to your Chrome environment.

GAT now supports live tracking of Chrome OS devices by serial number. For the first time it is possible for Admins to do real inventory control. Devices are reported by serial number, user, geo-location, IP address, MAC address, etc. Admins can see the history of users for a Chrome OS device, including last user. Conversely they can find all the Chrome OS devices a particular user was on. As standard with GAT, reporting by user, group or OU is standard, in addition to reporting by IP location or Geo Location. Available by request from today to all paid up GAT Shield domains.

Delegating Access for an email account.
As of v.6385 GAT allows Admins to delegate access for a User account to another User for a certain period of hours. This may be for business purposes but it is also to facilitate the fast search and viewing of all the account emails via another user’s browser.

BEFORE USING: Please ensure email delegation is allowed for users in your domain.
Go to the Google Apps Admin console and under 'Apps', 'Google Apps', 'Settings for Gmail', 'User Settings', check if the email delegation box is allowed for your domain.

Admins should select the fifth tab, Email Delegation, in the Emails Audit area. Here the Admin can select the account they wish to gain access to, then select the account they want to give this access to and finally select the number of hours they would like delegated access to be granted for. Once the request is sent, the Security Officer will still have to approve before the delegation is created.
